if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

All rooms have a seaview but the higher up you are the better the view.

Do not go you will regret it we tried to change hotel as soon as we arrived couldn't do it.

marmaris is a resort that if you like being hassled you will love every pub or restraunt you go by they pounce on you if i heard cheaper than chips cheaper than asda i will scream. beware the market they can be very nasty i was called a gypsy because i refused to get ripped off for tracksuits also wathch the kids one lady tried to take mine by the arm to her jewelery stall and put stuff on her arm and expect me to buy it but i grabbed her back and flung her stuff back at her some of the stall holders are nice though and will haggle with u if you are changing money watch what notes they give you as we got ones that are out of circulation watch the prices in pubs as drinks can be xpensive and they dont have the prices on the list. the dolmus buses are great every where for a lira but your nerves will be shattered! the bazzare is great but once again you are pestered silly but we just said no and walked on if we were not intersted marmaris has got very expensive this year icelemer is better value and less hassle

Marmaris could do with improvements cleanliness wise. Though the rubbish disposal service is very efficient and they work every day it is not a good impression to see bags of rubbish spilling out of bins and bin bags left on streets.
Entertainment in bars is basically the same on the main street ie: the waiters in each bar doing Turkish dances and other dances they have made up and they do their utmost to make everyone enjoy themselves. There are also quiet chillout bars that play some really good music. On Marmaris beach front there is lot's of different entertainment-impressions shows, the famous drag shows at the talk of the town and other's are picking up on this and doing the same, bars with live bands playing which are very good, disco bars etc.
The beach is not very good in Marmaris, very slim stretch of shingle and it's always crowded.
We didn't find much differance in the prices but we always visit mid September which is coming to the end of the season and they lower the prices from what they were charging in the summer.The hassle was also really low key this year which was a first as the new mayor is apparently really strict and WILL close down bars if their staff are discovered hassling tourists.
We will be visiting again as usual next September as we still havn't had enough of the place.

My husband and I loved Marmaris and plan to purchase a property large enough to accommodate our family. My husband and I are aged 42 and 44 and our boys are 18 and 16.
There is plenty to see and do in and around Marmaris to suit all ages. You can shop until you drop, the beach whilst small is lovely (larger beach in Icmeler)and the harbour is picturesque.
If you want a boat trip to remember see Leo (White Seagul)he is a perfect gentleman. According to my husband who has owned boats since he was 20, the skipper has excellent skills in manoeuvreing the vessel.
We felt really safe in their hands. Tell Leo that Karen and John Williams are sending their regards and that we will be back in the near future (only this time with our family in tow)to experience all the trips they have on offer.

Resort seemed very clean although some kerbs etc needed attending to.
Lots of restaraunts etc which all seemed to offer the same sort of entertainment. Beach seemed rather small and had gritty sand. However not being beach people did not affect us.
Would definitley go to Marmaris again perhaps in a different hotel.

The Turks pay a lot of attention to detail in everything they do.
We found them very clean, pleasent and trustworthy. I won't be going many other places than Marmaris.

Marmaris is still very hot this time of year and the mad rush is over, which made it more relaxed you still get harassed by the waiters but if you tell them you have already eaten they leave you alone.
We really like Turkey and would go back again.

The resort is nice enough, clean, cheap and cheerful.
Everything is pretty much accessible by foot so its all good.
I was however very upset due to being mugged on the beach and us loosing all our money, mobiles, stereo's etc halfway through the holiday.
The guys who attempt to get your custom along the beach are a bit of a pain (they just dont give up) but if you go to the quieter side of marmaris, you'll find it much better!
All in all a nice place to go, weather was great etc, but maybe there should be less sun loungers and more thief supervision and security on the beach.

We have been going to Marmaris for a few years now and we love it.
The Turkish people are lovely and we have made some really good friends, it is really cheap to eat out and the clothes are a bargain.
It is my favourite place to go on holiday.

This resort is very expensive. They talk about rip-off Ireland, it is nothing in comparison to Marmaris. For a 3 course meal for 2 people with 1 Beer & 1 Water it cost the equivelant of 57Euro!! It would cost this at home. We went into Anatolia (a small cafe) at the edge of the Marina and got 2 teas (in small cups), for which we were charged the equivelant of 8Euro.
A piece of advice to everyone going to Marmaris, always ask for a menu when you go into any establishment. It should give the prices. If it does not you are leaving yourself wide open to being ripped off.
Another annoying habit they have is not giving you back your change. If the bill is 46Lira, you give 50Lira, you are therefore due 4Lira back. You'll be waiting. I have absolutely no problem leaving a tip, however, I want to decide the amount for myself!!

Well 1st of all just got back Monday night cut along story short the nightlife was rubbish there was just the 1 pub ( Elvis bar ) that me and my girlfriend went to.
If your in your 50s and you like to eat and drink in restaurants then that's prefect for you. but for us never again.
I also found it very expensive for instance a Twix and a bottle of Fanta will set you back 5.5 lira which is about £2.30 the food was also exspensive.
All in all we would'nt go back to Turkey again. The only good thing about it was the weather.
