if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

I found the resort very friendly.I also found it catered for all ages.I would recomend it to anyone,with or without a family.

We stayed in Marmaris for the first time and found it to be lively with plenty going on. There are plenty of restaurants and bars for all tastes / budgets.
There are so many shops selling all sorts of things you will never take them all in one trip, although do check what you buy -I ended up with a watch that didnt work when I got it home, and I was so proud that I haggled it down to half price - no wonder!
Just check things over, I'll know for next time. Some of the shopkeepers are pushy in that they will try and persuade you into their shop if you even show a glimmer of interest in what they are selling, but we took it in fun and as a part of being in their part of the world.
There is a large harbour, with a huge amount of boats all offering trips of different kinds. When I say offering, the owners will pester you and try and persuade you to go on their trip rather than on their 'neighbours' trip, but the trips are really good value with some offering food and drink included the price so you probably wont go far wrong whichever you decide on.
The beach is narrow and covered in sunbeds, but the sand is rough / dark shingly, not too nice for walking barefoot on in my opinion, but I am not a fan of the beach and can take it or leave it, and it was clean.

Bar street is brilliant plenty of night life and do not miss going to see the playgirls at talk of the town as they are fantastic. For £15 you get a meal first drink and a brill night out that has you crying for more.
Fantastic places to eat especially the garden restuarant that does English and Chinese meals also Prontos and don't miss going to the Blackpool bar and the seray beach bars for a good night.

Marmaris is more like a back street city centre than a tourist resort (around Bar street area), the area is very clean but you do get harrassed a lot from bar / restaurant owners even when you tell them you have already eaten. the best entertainment is on the beach promenade their are lots of bars there but as I said earlier Ichmeler is more of a family orientated resort. also in Marmaris the beaches are of poor quality i.e. more like grit sand than golden sands.

It was my 1st holiday in Turkey and I found Marmaris very similar to resorts I have been to in Spain ie:dusty. There are plenty of bars and restaurants and I found the food to be excellent no matter were I ate.
The beach was free to use but was narrow and the sand gritty and a dark colour.

The road up to our hotel was a bit scruffy and at night there were not many lights.
Marmaris itself was ok there are not many bins,just the big wheely bins. The entertainment was very good there is pleanty to do I would suggest the talk of the town show at cheers very funny we went twice it was that good.
The beach is ok but you are very close together Icemeler is better. We would come back again it is a very nice place and there is pleanty to do, and the people are so nice.

There is a karaoke bar across the road which is very loud! The only time it quietens down is after 2 am when they close the doors so the noise deadens. We actually purchased some ear plugs. Beware the prices for drinks in this bar 'Aussies' they seem to charge whatever they feel like, we paid different prices each night for the first week, then, one of our party was verbally abused by one of the bar staff and so we stopped going in.

marmaris itself is avery lively and sometimes intimidating place to visit if you dont want hassle keep out of the bazzar area.a water taxi to icmeler is well worth it just to get away from the hussle& bussle of marmaris town.the entertainment is mainly centered around a bar but all offer something different.

Its an up and coming area on Marmaris, in a couple of years time, it will be different again. In my opinion, its ideal for young families.Its got enough Bars and restuarants to fulfill 2 weeks I can highly reccommend Sunny's Baran's and especially New York bar (hi to Jimmy...(this is your next door neighbour friend!), Spike, Gorgeous and the BOSS man!!!) The music seems to be shut off at midnight but the bars still open thats why i though it suited young families. I travelled with 3 other adults and 6 kids age 11-3 and this area suited us down to the ground. I would visit Armutulan again
