Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

The resort could not have been in a better place, it was close to the sea and the market , we even got to go to the last hotel that we stayed before called long beach apartments. The only thing i didn't like about the location was the amount of trees , which blocked off most of the sun light. It is a great apartment , but it just needs a little thinking about and work on other wise i would recommend it .

The resort was lovely, we didnt see much of it but did visit the shops, a few restaurants/bars and the beach. All seamed very clean and the people there were very friendly, helpful and polite.

Marmaris was a great night out, lots to do and you could party all night long. The P.R.S were annoying, not taking no for an answer and it wasn't exactly cheap.
Especially bar street which was vastly overpriced. I really enjoyed my nights out and lazy days on the beach.
But you have to watch what you do with your money and look like you know what your doing or you will be ripped off.
Always check the drinks prices before getting a tab. Whilst I was their two girls had their drinks. spiked.
Bottom line, be very, very vigilant and you'll have a good time.

Marmaris as a resort is in a very picturesque setting along with Icmeler and in terms of cleanliness this was very clean. It didn't look like a dirty town at all. Apart from some small problems with loose stones from paths, you couldn't fault it.
Entertainment has something for about everyone here, and I would split Marmaris into three parts. We stopped at the Siteler part of town which is quieter with a reasonable anount of bars and shops and would be better for families with younger children. I found Marmaris to not cater too much for children, although the frielndliness of the local people (especially with kids) to more than make up for it.
The central part of the town (especially the beachfront) has lots of bars & restaurants and a lot of karaoke bars to boot, we spent most of our time in this area. The harbour/boats area is the best & most picturesque of the whole town and is lovely on a night with a reasonable atomosphere. But the liveliest section of the town (Bar Street) is close by the boats but not too noisy.
For all this the dolmus is very handy and regular so all types of entertainment are within easy reach.
The beach unfortunately is a let down, not wide and beaten considerably by Icmeler.
Wthout a shadow of a doubt I would come back here.

Disliked the beach and the people were not very friendly like they are when you go to spain/greece etc.
Wouldn't visit the resort again due to the poor hotel experience.

Tranaport is excellent, as there is a dolmus terminus just 2 minutes away, or the taxis are very reasonable.
I like to run and the roads are really good and the views are quite superb, so I would recommend a little exercise. Go on try it.
There are plenty things to see and do and you can not cover everything in your 2 weeks holiday. That is why people come back time and time again.
You can try a boat trip or one of the many other excursions, all of which are bookable locally (Very Cheap), or you can always see Apol and he will sort it for you, as he has many friends and contacts.
There are many bars and restaurants within walking distance, all of which will give you excellent service and they will make you feel very special.(Try Mustie's - Hacci's, or the Amsterdam Bar and they are just a few minutes walk).
If you do not fancy a walk, then try the Toksoy bar and they do an excellent breakfast, or if they do not have it, then they will get it in for you.
You must try the shopping trip of a lifetime at the Grand Bazaar, which is on the waterfront, where you will hear hillarious shouts from the shopkeepers such as, Cheap As Chips - Cheaper Than Asda - Cheaper Than Shoplifting, or if you are a Geordie then it's, Whey Ya Bugger Man.
There is a shopping center at the end of the Marina which is very high class and a bit pricier, but it is worth a brouse. I promise you that you will enjoy it.
We will be back next year and no matter where we go in the world, we always look foreward to our return to Marmaris, where we have made many friends over the years and especially the last couple of holidays there.
See you next year.

Great if you like your arm being grabbed to enter a bar or your young daughter (10) being enticed into bars.
Lovely if adults go though the Turkish are wonderful with kids they do use as a way of getting you to get into there bars.
Would visit again without kids.

A bit off the beaten track we thought, but easy enough to get a cab or bus into town.
Never had any problems in the resort before or since. Would recommend it.

I have stayed in Marmaris many times. I find the cleanliness of the Resort quite good. What can you do when there are holiday makers leaving their rubbish behind. I think that the Bars on the front are really good. There are bars for the lively and also quite restaurants if you want one. I cannot comment on the beach as I have never been to the beach as I am more of a poolside person but I think they are ok from what I have seen of them. I would most definately visit Marmaris again. I have been four times in three years and am going back in October of this year (hopefully)!
