if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris in general is a fantastic resort, turkey is a beautiful country.

Mamaris resort is fantastic something for everyone. I have been to a lot of resorts in Turkey but my favourite is Mamaris I have been there for the past 4 years.

Marmaris was very busy. The constant pestering did become a bit too much. Take it in your stride and enjoy it. Everyone told me you couldn't spend your money. You can. It was not cheap. Food was reasonably priced, spirits and wine were expensive. Apparently it has doubled in price in the last 2 years. The beach was fine, sunbeds and brollies free, you only paid 2lira for the comfy mats.

This was my third time in Marmaris love it the people are all very freindly!
One bar that I love to visit is the 60s/70s Albatros staff in there are the best!!
This year I quite enjoyed Baren on the the beach great night in there.

Resort was really excelent. Good nightlife and if you like karaoke there is plenty of pubs that do it! We never visited the beach but it looked ok. Really good would deffinitly go back!!!!

The resort is a lively place for people that want it lively and quiet if you want it quiet. You have to find the right places to go. I would recommend Turkey to famalies and partys its is a place for every one.

The hotel is in the Armutulan area of Marmaris and we found it a very pleasant area. So glad we were not in the centre of Marmaris. We visited one evening (only 1 YTL by dolmus which run extremely frequently at the bottom of the road from the hotel) and didn't like it one bit. The covered bazaar was absolutely awful. We knew we would get some hassle off the shopkeepers but it was a nightmare trying to get past any of the jewellery, t-shirt and leather shops without being dragged inside to see their wares! they just would not take no for an answer. We gave up after an hour walking round and caught the dolmus back to the calm of Armutulan!
I would be happy to stay in Armutulan again but anywhere nearer the centre of Marmaris is a definite NO!

Marmaris was a busy resort which did have every thing if you wanted it, a nice beech in walking distance, a local market hundreds of restaurants, and bars and clubs should you wish to go to them. It was a very busy resort completely living for tourists. The beech was nice it was a gravel beech but was still quite nice but be careful should you beoffered free sunbeds - they will expect you to buy lots of drinks from them, and they will bug you untill you buy!! The constantness of tehshop sales man was funny at first, but after a day it became quite frustrating and being two women we did get alot of hassle, and although most were just charming many became sleezy and didnot like it when we simply said no thank you!!
I dont think id go directly backto Marmaris although i knew it was a busy resort the clubs were not all that and at times it became clostraphobic, as you were always surrounded by many people. i would definatly visit Icelemer again (as we went on a day trip)as it was less commercial not suck a bustle, cleaner and close enough to marmaris for night life should you want it.BE WARNED THOUGH... despite every one telling me Turkey is cheap i was very suprised to find the prices and very much inflated since my mum was at the same resort last year, and remember to shop around, they will rip you off if they can, even in restaurants keep an eye on what you have esp how many drinks as they are very cleaver at adding on to your bill. xx Rounding up not my ideal resort as i was looking for a quiet resorts to relax in so a bit mis informed by detur icelemar would have been better fo me, but a perfectly nice resort, with [plenty of things to do.( i would recommend the tour to dalaman and mud baths operated by 5k)and dominoes restaurant!

Marmaris is not what I was expecting at all. it is not as British as most people told me it was, there were definatly a lot more Europeans (Dutch, Swedish, Russian etc)., but this did not spoil the holiday at all.
Wwe first started to go down Bar Street for our nights out but this mainly for locals and europeans and there was a lot of trouble out there. So when we went down to the beach at night it was fantastic as it was very english which we liked.
Marmaris has something for everyone and has got some beautiful restaurants along the beach. Food is reasonably priced but drinks can be expensive. I must mention the Malibu bar where we went for cocktails every night for just 5TL, (£2). If you are known in a bar then the drinks definatly get stronger!! which is great!!
