Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris was quite clean but a little too commercialised for us.We will probably return on a day trip from another resort. We din't go onto the beach and didn't go into any bars with entertainment so cannot comment on these .The resort was closing down so a lot of bars were closed,we did enjoy our walks along the harbour in the evening.

marmaris is nice but not as nice as icmeler, and turunc is well worth a visit. If you go to the mud baths go on the two boat trips not the coach ask before you pay

Been to Marmaris a few times and it hasn't changed a bit in that time. It has something for everyone but this time it was during a fairly tough time for all and this meant an even greater annoyance with PRs , pub and restaurant owners/workers trying to coerse you into their place.

We were a little bit outside of the main area of Marmaris - about a 15 min walk down to the beach (pebbles). It is a nice place ... the old part of the town towards the end of the Marina was pretty, with little alleyways to explore.
The only downside is the constant hassle you get from everyone ... "come and eat", "come and drink", "just look at the menu", "come on my boat trip", "look at my excursions", "come into my shop" etc etc ad finitum.
The bit of town we stayed in was nice. Still got the hassle but not as bad as down in the town. Top of the list for eating out is the Amore Restaurant. Staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was great. They had a resident DJ every night and the waiters get you involved only if you want to be with the dancing. We also would recommend AbFab and Sidewalk.
Music stops everywhere in the restaurants by law at 12 midnight, but if you want to carry on you can still get into nightclubs which go on into the night in the main part of town. Dolmus run frequently and well into the night and they have a flat fare depending on which one you take of either TLR 1.25, 1.50 or 2.00 per journey. Food isn't that cheap. An evening meal would cost between TLR 15-25, with wine at TLR10 and soft drinks TLR5. If you are thinking of hiring a car, petrol was very expensive, at around TLR3.60 per litre. Roads aren't too bad and nor was the standard of driving.

There are lots of bars and restraunts here most offer great food and entertainment, two Dragons Chinese buffet is great 12 lira eat as much as you like , Red Rose bar serves very good food, Royal Oak is great for us older people lol playing 60s and 70s music, there are plenty of shops selling shirts beer trinkets etc , over all a good place to stay .
The only reason we are not going back is that we want to see more of Turkey .

Marmaris was very clean and there was lots of entertainment available every night, there were lots of shops were you could but cheap clothes and the markets are good (be aware that the men in the markets can be very sleezy) the beach isn't good but a quick bus for 2 lire will take you to icemelar were there is a lovely beach....

Marmaris has everything. It is a fantastic place to go on holiday. Lots to do. Friendly people.
In some of the restaurants they would go out of their way to get want you want. We recommend John Harrys.
