if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

the resort itself was lovely...gets lively at night but that doesnt really matter coz most of the hotels are away from bar street so its not noisy atall...gave the beach a 4 beacause its mixed sand and shingle and would of loved proper sand but we didnt really spend time at the beach. Definatly coming back.

if you like wall to wall bars, music, eating places and hotels then this is the place for you.

I would recommend Sunny and James for those who want to go on excursions, the're just round the corner from the inan apartments and are always happy to help.
One last thing - dont visit portofino!!! We were there almost every night for our first week and spent a lot of money until one night when they charged us twice for almost everything we'd bought - which came to over 170tl! But they sneakily charged our group as we left seperately. When we took the bill to them to complain they would not refund us and accused us of being too drunk to know what had happened the previous night and called us gypsies. Do not go here unless you want to be ripped off.

The hotel was only a 15 minute nice walk from the beach. The resort was very clean and lots of friendly faces. You would get hassled abit when walking past shops and restaurants but if you told them no thank you they excepted it and left you alone. The shops are very cheap and i felt very safe going out alone with the children and had no worries about our safety and didn't worry about having money on me. Turkey is great and i would deffinatly visit again. Avoid the Jeep Safari though it was a waste of money. The water park is fab though for the children.

I would recommend marmaris to any age group.. Its really good for goind out partying but doesnt really pick up till about 12 goes on till around 5 would recommend salt and pepa and the beach club!! its also good for a family holiday lot of entertainment durning the day!!

Marmaris was a bus ride away the buses run from the hotel for free but you can get a bus for as little as 1.25 lr and the run every 2 mins , the main resort was busy with plenty to do, would recommend the turkish bath and boat trips very cheap and great day out.

the resort its self was ok ,as again the entertainment was none no poster saying whats on a disco every night right by our room very loud didn't get to sleep till late then up agin when the mosque started calling people

there was alot off stuff you could do in marmaris daily excursions eg the lazy day boat trip which we went on it was ok a good thing to do to get a suntan we visited different islands and had a dip here and there relaxing if the boat is not packed out with people. we went on the jeap safari not to our likin not if you like dirty buckets of water being thrown all over you when your trying to take pictures.we visited a place called jesus beach that was lovely the water was beautifull. marmaris beach was about half a mile to a mile away from our hotel which was ok a nice walk on the way down you would just get pestered by people to eat at there restaurant which was pretty annoying there trying to earn a living but they should let you decide for yourself.the people are really friendly other than that. we eat at a place called the little chef just down the road from club cettia the food there was just like english food homemade pies lasanges and english breakfast and the people who work there are nice people. turkey is a nice place but better for young ones looking for a laugh theres plenty of pubs and clubs on the front its the first time visiting turkey and i think it will surely be the last.

The area is okay if you wanted to stay somewhere very quiet but there isnt alot to do and have to walk a fair bit to get to resturants, bars and shops, but still have to take a dolamus bus to get to the centre of marmaris and the beach as its quite a bit away from the hotel if you walk
