if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Do not go you will regret it we tried to change hotel as soon as we arrived couldn't do it.

marmaris is an excellent place for a holiday, good weather and good value for money.

Marmaris is lovely :)
We went to the Market which is nice but you have to be able to barter with them...
You must do the Lazyday Boat trip, All inclusive for 25 lira.. was a brilliant day..
Also the Jeep Safari is soooo much fun, 25lira for the day inc lunch...
Waterpark is quite small and we went to Aqua Dream which is supposed to be the biggest...

Our room was spacious and cleaned every day by very friendly staff. There was different entertainment put on every evening which was enjoyed by all ages. The beach was only 10 min bus ride from just outside the hotel. It was far better being away from the hustle and bustle yet still being central enough to every thing. We would most definately be going back next year.

Hi. This was our first time to Turkey and im glad we chose to go to Marmaris. The nightlife was brilliant. You could either choose from the quiter nightlife or the lively nightlife which was mostly on the seafront. We mostly went to the quieter part which still provided lots of entertainment - singers, dancers and shows ect. We mostly went for long walks at night and i thought the streets and roads were very clean with the odd restaurant having bin linners full outside. My personal opinion on the beach was that it was not my cup of tea. It was kept very clean but insted of sand it was stones and you couldn't walk in the sea cause it hurt your feet walking over the stones. But apart from the we had a fantastic holiday in Marmaris and we will definatly be visitng again.

We booked a Turkish bath 60 lira (£24) for all 4 of us, including massage, a day at the Atlantis Water Park and the Dalyan Mud Baths and Tombs both very reasonable and much cheaper than booking through rep. Marmaris water front was beautiful and a 1 lira 25 bus ride away from opposite the hotel. The Thursday market had lots of lovely leather goods, fruit/veg, clothes etc if you can stand the heat and the hassle.

The resort was very nice, lots of restaurants around only 10 minutes away from the apartment to a restuarant i would recommend the "cousins" restuarant, it was excellent food and really nice bar staff there.
If u wanted to entertained you would have to go down to the beach front were they are loads of bars and clubs that do on all night, you might get a bit hassled but if you walk on the otherside you wont be.
Beware it gets really noisy in the clubs or bars you go on because one partical club was the "cheeky boys" and they would blow whistles all the time but very funny at times.
Maybe if you are young and free and want to be chatted up by turkish men go to mamaris resort but if you wont to have quieter pubs go to iclmemer the beach is lovely there and really nice restuarants there!
But for me i liked both so you chose what one you would like for each night!

We found Armutalan far more family freindly than staying in marmaris centre.If you need to get to the centre it is only a 5 minute dolmus ride away.We are already booked to go back in 2010 and would recommend Turkey to anyone looking for a relatively cheap package holiday.

marmaris lovely, you get alot of hassle walking around with people trying to get you in their resturants just say have already eaten and walk away. plenty to do like play crazy golf with the kids, beaches lovely and clean.
stop at the club excelsior and you have everythink you need.
