if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Armutalan was clean and all restaurant and shops there were very nice to us. they made you very welcome to there resort and was only a 5minutes bus run to Marmaris and was cheap and taxi fairs was ok but they are crazy drivers and just speed across the roads. scares you haha. i would definetly return to this resort.

Marmaris is excellant for entertainmtent and it is very clean apart from up the back streets but that is to be expected the beach is lovely although i still prefer icmeler beach. I have been in marmaris 11 times now and this year i did notice is that is is quite expensive most of the bars along the long beach front charge aroung £3 for local vodka. Im alreday looking to come back again in a few months I love marmaris

Again absolutely fabulous! Couldn't ask for more, in all honesty Marmaris is the best resort I have visited in my life. Perhaps the beaches are not as soft and sandy as those in Spain but the sea and views are beautiful! The day trips are amazing value for money and a great experience. Again I would recommend this to everyone and anyone.

We stayed in the Armutulan area of Marmaris, I cannot fault this area, if you are looking for somewhere a little bit quieter than the main front section then this is it. It is a good twenty minute walk to the front but a dolomus bus takes you down in five minutes. The entertainment is the same stuff over and over again, (breakdancers, micheal jackson impersonations etc) but I think this is the same all over Turkey. We did not go to the beach at all but it looked clean enough. I will defintely be returning to this area again.

The beaches and sea were lovely and clean.! Sun beds are free on most beaches too only problem being that you are expected to buy from their restaurants and many do not allow you to bring your own water or snacks with you!

Marmaris was wonderful. As this was the first time we had visited Turkey we were unsure what to expect. The streets are clean and well maintained, however if you are a bit off the beaten track then this tends to degrade a bit.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants offering various entertainment the only downside is the constant badgering by the staff to come to their establishment. This seemed to be worse in the evening - so be prepared!
The beach is very clean. Every bar owns the part of the beach outside their establishment and will offer you free sunbeds. However the expectation is that you will purchase food/drink from their bar. If you don't you might find you will be charged for the sunbed. There are plently of water sports along the beach with jet skis for hire and boat trips galore.
Marmaris is a beautiful resort and we would definately visit there again.

Love Marmaris but wouldn't want to be in the centre of it, the beach isn't great but short dolmus ride to Icemeler beach is really worth it (2tl).
Lovely friendly people, little bit of hassle but you soon get the hang of smiling, taking their cards and walking by!

Armutalan is a quieter resort in marmaris which we found good as it wanst too noisy when we were going to bed with the children, its 1.25tl on the dolmus into the centre of marmaris and takes around 10 minutes. there are plenty on bars in armutalan too if you just fancied a stroll out. I would go to armutalan again and stay at the Goldn Orange.

the resort we were in had a very english feel to it ,a bit like blackpool,lot's off trying to get you into there pub and spend money in there shop's,you have to smile and say no and getaway as soon as you can.everywere was clean with no litter about,and the beachers were fine,just take your flip flops into the sea as the sand is very gritty and not nice on your feet.
