if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

First time in Turkey and we will return. Stayed in Club Aida in Marmaris, fab hotel. The resort seemed okay. Very busy on the beach front. Lots of restaurants and bars with very competitive prices. Taj Mahal Indian restaurant was absolutely fabulous. Cousins restaurant opposite the Club Alize deserves a mention, the staff were fab and the food was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even moving tables around as there were 12 in our party. Natalie's steak house and Sarah's also deserve a mention. Didn't like the beach though, sand was very rough and looked dirty.

Marmaris itself is like Turkeys "Blackpool", lots of souvenir shops and restaurnts/bars.
If your hotel/apartment hasnt got too much entertainment on there is plenty entertainment in other pubs/restaurants.
Havin been to many beutiful beaches in West Coast of Scotland, wasnt impressed by beach, man-made, sand very grainy, It was far nicer staying by the Banana Apts pool area which was pristine clean and bar/food facilites adjacent to it.

I loved this place so much!
The people were friendly always so helpful. I went out for a walk while staying there, on my own,and got lost,but all I had to do was to ask one of the locals and they showed me the way back to the appartments.
The pubs along the beach and in the area of the appartments were so friendly. Always chatting to you, it was like staying in one big neighbourhood with people that you had known for years!
Always entertainment happening what more could you ask for (=

Marmaris has everything for everyone. People are very friendly and kind and go out of their way to make your holiday good. There is plenty of bars, clubs and resturaunts (too many to choose from)
The harbour area is very beautiful and the beach is huge with most of the sunbeds free of charge. My favourate place in the evening was the seafront bars which were bustling with entertainment.
I look forward to visiting Marmaris again

Marmaris is a great resort that has something for everyone. There are numerous travel agents offering a wide range of excellent cheap excursions from Roman Ruins to Jeep safaris and boat trips. Trips to the market are a must as the genuine 'fake' products are good quality and competively priced. We are seriously thinking about going back next year.

The resort was good, it has so much stuff to do unfortunately you get hassled a lot, and it's not just by restaurants, its by taxi drivers, bars, clubs, the worst thing I saw this holiday was a boy aged around 8 or 9 with a pair of scales asking for 1 tl to weigh your self, he was out until all hours in the morning. I ended up weighing myself around 8 times that holiday. it's a 2 minute walk to all the closest pubs but night life you either had to go to the beach front which is 10 minute walk. Or Bar street which is about 30-40 minute walk or 10 minutes by taxi but it is a good experience but be prepared to be ripped of with some drinks and taxis. There all lots of things to do in the day, we went on so many different trips my favourite on is the jeep safari, i reccomened it to all.

We visit Marmaris every year and I have to say that it is a great resort.Lovely places to eat and great nightlife.Generally speaking,the Turkish are very nice people.However,if you are female and on your own or with a group of girls,the Turkish men are out of order,the way they act.Could be very intimadating for a group of young girls on their own.Never ever leave your drink or take a free drink.

Quiet part of Marmaris - easy enough to get into the marina - just jump on the no. 2 bus, they run every few minutes and just stick out your hand to stop the bus - very cheap only 50p. Lots of shops around the marina - but be prepared to get hassled to death until you buy something - lots of copy watches (ie dont pay over 25 lira a watch!) lots of bags, clothes, jeans, tops etc - They are good value and great quality - Turkey are major cotton growers so goods are cheap! Try the boat trips - great value £10 for a full day out and lunch included! I believe the Jeep Safari is good fun - but didn't try it! BIG supermarket near the marina (part of Tesco) shop there - much cheaper than the smaller supermarkets! Beach not up to much - gravel, dark sand and dirty in places.

Even though we had a bad experience in the Seren Apartments in Marmaris as a whole i loved the place and will definately be returing again, could be a bit annoying sometimes as there is always people trying to get you into their bar or restaurant and the streets are lined with them, but loved the place, we had great weather, we had temperatures of over 50 degrees every day which was great, there is a lot to do as there are loads of places there that sell all the tours, we went to the turtle beach cruise where you go on a boat to visit turtle beach, which is lovely then you go back on the boat then go a mud bath which smells a bit but is great for your skin, helps you tan better aswel, and we also went to the 2 waterparks which are in Marmaris, both are really amazing, for young kids and adults, lots of great water slides there, but there is a lot more you can do and when you book the tours they pick you up from hotel im morning and drop you bk off so saves you any hassle, the people are so nice and friendly and cant do enough for you when you go to their pub,club or restaurant, would recommend Marmaris to anyone
