if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

I love Marmaris very much and definatly will return next year.

Armutilan is in a quieter location of Marmaris yet only five minutes away by local bus from the hustle & Bustle of Marmaris beach front with it's numerous restaurants & wonderfully entertaining night life. The cost of the bus is approximately 50p and there is one every 5/10 minutes. Just put your hand out wherever you are and they will stop.
The Turkish people are really friendly & cannot do enough to help you.
Take a stroll along the beautiful marina in the evening, stop off at a restaurant & look on in amazement at the wonderful yachts moored in the harbour.
If dancing the night away is your thing, visit Bar Street with it's many open air clubs where you may find yourself dancing in a wild foam party. As we did. And wer'e in our fifties!!! Loved it.
All in all, Turkey is an amazing experience both culturally & socially.
And finally. You MUST take a lazy day boat trip!
All day trip including food & all you can drink for as little as 20 Lira. £10. You will swim in the warm waters of Turkey surrounded by fabulous scenery.
This is the only place we have revisited & we intend visiting a lot more.

again another great holiday at marmaris.. everywhere was very friendly and everwhere you went you were made very welcome...
boatrips once again were fab....
if you like to dance make sure you visit the beach club and salt & pepper....

marmaris is a lovely place been there 3 times,people freindly but a bit too in the face with harrassment outside shops,entertainment plenty of it,lots to do an see,beach is not upto much,too narrow an gritty,not much sand, would go back again,but not in same area,armutalan

i felt sorry for the locals. small town and until midnight bars in close proximity all blaring there own tunes at full volume. The beaches are really nothing special. tiny and u get slotted in like a sardine on a sun bed. ignore any photo u see on the web...think southend on sea in essex.
i asked the turks and they said go to Antalya for beaches.
it was not the resort for me. i do love turkey though, i think it is a beautiful country with great natives. learn a few words of turkish and you get the odd surprised smile. the missing ingredient was a feeling of space/freshness in marmaris...i think it is a resort where you should hire a car and drive off if u are in search of some peace. even icemeler felt like armutalan with a slightly wider beach to make a slightly wider sardine can effect with ! we did not hire a car because we did not have enough money. The dolmus bus service is great fun though. really frequent service for cheap price.

Plenty to do in Marmaris. If had stayed at another hotel would have enjoyed it.

resort is great for familys. plenty to do free poll and playstations in all pubs for kids. oasis bar owned by scottish is great for food 2 meals for £10 (they accept scottish money) uncle sams the best for breakfast. would go back to this resort again,

We stayed in Armutalan, about 700 metres from the beach. The restaurants are very clean and their staff very friendly. We were one of the unlucky ones who's travel agents had used XL Airways. A jewellers (Ogdaz)opposite our apartment let us use the internet to find out information, and also phoned England four times, at his own cost, as well as Dalaman airport to see if he could find out the information we needed. (Where else would you get this?) Whatever entertainment you want, whether lively or quiet,can be found at Marmaris. We would definately go to this resort again. Taxi's can be expensive but the local buses, or Dolmus as they are called, are cheap and run often.

marmaris is lively good for trips water sports at a respectable price
