Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris was a really nice resort, I feel if we where staying near the Marina that it would have been a little too busy. I really liked the area we stayed in at Happy Days, the only thing I was dissapointed in, it was alot more expensive than I expected.

Marmaris is quite a nice place, expect a bit of hassle, but not cheap anymore.British numbers are dwindling and lots of Russians.

We went to Turkey with an open mind. We had heard mixed reports about Marmaris. Upon arrival the resort itself looks lovely. Fantastic scenery.
The beach is dirty and very over crowded. There is no where to lay a towel down you can choose from hundreds of free sunbeds. However be warned you cannot take own food and drink you must buy from the bars attached to the sunbeds.
I wouldn't advise taking small children as the entertainment starts around 10pm. The shows themselves are great the first time you see them but towards the second week they get boring as there is no variation all the bars do the same gig. Same show each night. Talk of the town has the best show the robot dance. However I cant say the same for the staff.
Lots of choices of bars and restaurants if taking small children Top Tip When they approach you to go in ask if the children eat free 9 out of 10 times they will say yes. We hardly paid for our son. They will still get big portions.
Beware of the market and bazaar the hassle is crazy. You cannot walk around anywhere without someone grabbing you to buy something. We found the market to be more expensive than the shops.
Aqua waterpark is great for small children and is walking distance from most hotels. Book boat trips on the sea front but be careful as some were pretending to book trips and they had no boat at all. Always get a government registered receipt. Also they advertise them as all inclusive trips but on one of the trips somenone was given water and coke as apposed to vodka and coke. But for £10 each adult its still a great day out.
Taxi boats to Ichmeler are a must the market is on a Wednesday, the taxi boats leave every half hour. Ichmeler is gorgeous. Less hassle and more peaceful.
I wouldn't return Turkey ever again as this holiday was a nightmare for us. The resort itself isn't for famalies as everyting is geared up towards getting drunk and falling over..... We made the most of it and had a good time but if you dont like noise and hassle and a nice beach then stay away from Marmaris.

Marmaris itself is very lively and we found some amazing restaurants, most of which we didn't pay for the children. We were treated with respect and the food was fantastic.. We didn't have one bad meal the whole time we ate out. Children's meal were also very good and good sized portions.
The Beach was the biggest disappointment for me as it was small and covered in sunbeds that were attached to each bar, etc facing it. You couldn't just sit on the beach and have a swim.. you had to eat & drink from the attached bar which I found a pain..
We went to Icemelar for the day & went to the beach there which was a lot more relaxed. We had to pay (£6)for 6 of us for the day and they did not hassle you as much. It was fantastic and we had a great day..
The Bazaar is well worth a visit and the boats up at the Marina at night look lovely all lit up..
All in all considering my hubby did not want to go to Turkey it had been one of our best holidays ever and my hubby wanted to stay longer!! we will most definately be going back and will stay at this hotel..

The resort of Marmaris is very busy, with lots of bars and restaurants. It is a very clean resort, and the locals were all very friendly. The nights out in the resort are very good aswell, with many karaoke bars. We hung out in the Baran bar alot of the time. Karaoke and dance, with the waiters doing routines, and dancing with the customers. The jeep safari is a must, if you don't mind getting wet!!! The beach is very nice, but the beach at Icelmer is nicer, as it is sand. But the water is very warm.
We will definately return to Marmaris again, hopefully next year.
