if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is an really lovely place. The streets are really clean and i never saw one cocoroch. The resturants are really clean and have really nice food and drinks. The pubs and clubs are really really lively if you like a good night out i suggest you go the beach front where is full of holiday makers. They have entertainment everywere you go. They have british bars and have karaoke in most of them every night. They have foam partys and good discos to. They are also great with kids and its really is a lovely family place to be. I would go back there again tommorow if i could i really done know why people say it is bad because it really is one of the best holidays i have ever been on. I didnt want to comehome.

we didnt find anything to complain about concerning the cleanliness of the resort...there seemed to be alot of entertainment on the beach promanade but we didnt try this out as we had enough entertainment at our hotel..the standard of the beach was ok there were plenty of sunbeds but we didnt find the sand very good as it was like gravel,nothing like the sand we have at home..yes i would visit this resort again...in facy we are going back in october..

This was our first visit to Marmaris but it wont be our last ! The resort has enough going on to keep everyone occupied , from the many and varied boat trips and watersports through the day, to the amazing variety of bars, retaurants and clubs in the evening. Although people still seem to complain about the hassling I thought it was nothing compared to Bodrum when I was there about 10 years ago ! In any case its a way of life and part of the holiday when in Turkey and they are always very polite, far more so than people you meet elsewhere! The resort is well policed and completely safe to walk around at night and is kept in a very good order day and night.

there is good shopping to be had at the shops near the hotel infact we got a better exchange rate at the shops near to us. you must visit irfan and mustafa aka ricky and danny at Sandras fish and chip shop. you can trust them with excursions, currency exchange and food

Although not in the Euro yet the prices are beginning to creep up in line with the rest of Europe. A local beer was around 5 lira and cocktails 12 lira. Its true what they say though if you can make it Turkey can certainly fake it - some fantastic bargains on designer clothes and shoes. The Ibrox bar is about the only place you will get IRN BRU and is about 9 lira for a vodka with bru but worth it when your craving for it. Look out for "Rocky" - hes Slys double. They make you feel right at home.

The resort of Marmaris is really clean and the people are very friendly and helpful. The local buses are a great way to get about the place and much chearper than using taxis. The Ibrox bar on the sea front is a great laugh and they are brilliant with the kids. Also appears to be the only place you can get Irn Bru so well worth a visit just for that. Cousins restuarant and bar across from the Alize Hotel is excellent and all drinks are buy one get one free. The nearer the beach front you go the dearer the drinks. They are not in the Euro yet but the prices are on the increase and are not a cheap as you would imagine a local beer is about 5 lira and cocktails are around 10-12 lira. If you are looking for bargains on designer clothes, bags or shoes this is certainly the place to go but be prepare to haggle extensively 9they take it in good humour though)

resort entertainment was very poor every game that they played was aimed at adults even though kids could join in it was pointless could have done better myself the trouble is after the 1st week there on the second week it was repeated.

The resort is very clean and looks pretty in parts.
There seems to be lots going on at night, various things, karaoke,traditional Turkish entertainment.
No fussed on beach so did not go on it, but it looked nice and clean.
I am going back in May next year to Marmaris, and Icmeler in September 08

Mamaris is cheap and friendly with pleanty of good cheap food. Not very child friendly as lots of busy roads
