Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is a lovely place to visit they are all friendly and welcoming

We love Marmaris we go twice every year. In particular we eat and drink in Janas bar which is just down towards the beach from Club Candan, the staff in there are excellent and child friendly. Where Club Candan is situated you are not in the centre of busy Marmaris but in a nice part which isnt too rowdy. If you do want busy Marmaris you can take a 10 minute walk towards the beach and it is bustling down there.

I have been to Marmaris lots of times. A lot of places have shut down (Magic House, Lydia Hotel, Sera Beach etc) but it is still a wonderful place. It is very clean and the beach (although the sand is quite dark) is clean and fresh looking. There are numerous bars and restaurants all over the place. If you are staying at the Alize, there is a bar/restaurant at the end of the road, turn left and just on the main road called 'Piccadilly'. It is great in there as there is a playground with playstations at the back. You can eat out there and keep an eye on the children. The food is excellent. Cant wait till next year!!

Marmaris has a reputation of being like the club capital of Turkey. Yes it does have loads of bars & clubs, but it is breathtakingly beautiful, friendly and spotlessly clean. No litter or flies anywhere. The service in n restaurants is incomparable to any other country i have ever been to. They want your business so much they treat you like Kings. It feels very safe at night, Speaking as Mum daughter walking about alone. The boat trips are excellent value for money and the food everywhere we ate was fantastic quality, value and generous portions.

The hotel was very clean the maids were always busy. The entertainment wasnt brilliant but we used to walk towards the beach and go to Janas which is a brilliant place for families or couples. The beach isn,t that nice if you want a cleaner beach take the taxi boat from by the marina for 7 lira each and its a nice peaceful boat ride for about 20 mins. I would definitely stay at Club Candan again we are already discussing next year.

Marmaris is just as good as it was when i first went 8yrs ago,you dont get as much hassle as you did because if they get caught they get closed down.Plenty of entertainment in the bars and restaurants, also Bar street. The beach is shingly very clean, plenty of sunbeds they are free.Marmaris is a shoppers paradise, dont forget to haggle, roll on May 2009.

this was my 8th time to mamaris and yet again just seems to change everytime i go still great down the beach front for food and entertainment as i watched all the football down there also the one big thing for me is now restaurant staff cannot hassle you as marmaris council have set up new laws were the police are going round in plain clothes and if they catch anyone hassleing tourists they shut them down for 3 days so all those that have heard all the stories about been hassled all the time no need to worry

Marmaris has something for everyone - Scenery is stunning - Lots of shops for bags, clothes etc we had 2 teenagers with us and they were never bored! The local Thursday market is worth a visit with fresh produce and turkish delight on the ground floor and all the Moody goods you could ever want on the top. Icemeler is also worth visiting its more low key than marmaris but still lots of decent restaurants (bit more pricey though) Would definately reccomend it.
