if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is a very lively place, but Armutalan is a suburb of Marmaris, which is quiet and only a short Dolmus ride into Marmaris, so we had the best of both worlds.
One Turkish night during our 2 week stay. This was very lively and entertaining, but we go there for the peace and quiet and the good people company.
Don't go to the beach, so can.t comment. We have booked up for 2008 already.

We atayed in an area of Marmaris called Armutalan, and it was lovely. Very clean, friendly, relaxing. % minutes on the bus (which run every 5 mins) and you're in Marmaris. Great shops, beach and nightlife, but we preferred the laid back village atmosphere of Armutalan

Marmaris is a fantastic place. All the people were friendly and everywhere was very clean. The entertainment was good in all restaurants and the clubs were good too. We will definitely be returning to Marmaris in the future!!!

We noticed a big difference in Marmiras when we went in Sept 2007 from previous years, we were there also in 1999, 2003 and 2006. The workers are alot more aggressive than previous years, they won't take no for an answer when you refuse to go into their bar, shop etc. On a few occasions we even had people shouting at us to get back and that we were being 'cheeky', just because we refused to buy anything of them. The pressure we felt was to much and sometimes even intimidating, therefore I don't think we'll be returning back to Marmiras. Also it has become very very expensive, the alchol is three times more expensive than Northern Ireland, don't go to Turkey if your looking for a peaceful cheap holiday.

marmaris................... tip tip tip hand bags shoes and perfume followed by tip tip tip you are sexy lady. smelly. commercialised. men are women mad regardless of your age boat trips a waste of time. beaches stones mucky water due to sewage only good thing about marmaris was we were only there a week thank god for northern ireland dont hire a vehicle stick to the dolomus its cheaper and its all you will need

I don't think I would plan a holiday in Marmaris. It is very busy and we did feel very hassled by the street traders and shop owners. There were some people who were very nice but overall it is not the resort for me. If you wanted to go to the beach you could only sit there if you had bought a drink by the bar that owned that strip. Even the day trips did not go too well. I found the sea on the main strip to not look too clean as there is the port near there and so many boats. There is clubs and pubs but I can do all that in London.
I had to laugh one night when we went for a meal and thought we were going to see a live show of singing impersonators. They actually just mimed and it was very amateur!

marmaris is great resort. went on a couple of excursions and had a great time. would recommend the jeep safari was superb. water park good too. eating out we found a few good places to eat. would certainly go back.

marmaris is a lovely place for a holdiay. If your looking for a good night out...head to Bar X and Salt n Peper.

all in all resort was great! we were a bit worried that the marmaris resort would be too much hustle and bustle for us...we found it perfect! i feel if we'd have gone a little bit earlier, we may have found it too nosiy! but we went at the perfect time. music wasn't too loud, after balcony doors and curtains were closed! straight too sleep! there was a mcdonalds just down the road from us! cheap, easy lunches! beach was a tad small, but water was lovely! free sunloungers and excellent service whilst on beach! nightlife was good! great if you want it, but also small bars if you don't! great family choice in if you like like cheesy music and a good dance, we recommend malibu beach hotel for a good sing a long! fish bowl for 35! and fishbowl with 2 tshirts for 50! great entertainment for children, such as a micheal jackson and drag queens! suits all ages! we loved it! will definetely be going back for another go! 2009! can't wait!
