Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris has some stunning views, The enterainment day or night is very good. The beach is lined with beach bars all serve good food, the water is clear with loads of water sports. The local bus will cost about 50p to the town centre.
The local market is held on a Thursday.
A must is the jeep safari, be parpared to get wet its a great day.

I have had the pleasure of visiting Turkey 7 times. In my personal opinion I strongly disagree about Marmaris being seen through rose tinted glasses by people like myself who return every year. Sure Marmaris may not be for every one, however again it is a beautiful country with great friendly people.
Yes, you do get "hassled" to go in to restaurants and bars, but there is so much competition that if they did not do this they would not be able to live, or keep their business afloat. If you simply say No thank you I have eaten, this is normally good enough for them and they wish you a pleasent evening.
The food is definatly cheap. Again reports say it isnt, however Myself and my family most nights had a three course meal and with drinks the most we payed was £10 a head. Now when you consider you are abroad and eating out in a restaurant I will let you decide wether that is expensive...i do not think it is at all.
I love Marmaris 1. because it is a beautiful country, 2. the people are really friendly and 3. you are always made welcome.
So please rest assured if you have booked a holiday to Marmaris you will have a great time. Just remember you are in Turkey not in England, respect their culture and way of life and you will have a fantastic holiday to remember.

The resort of Marmaris is excellent for young and old.
Spend your days lazing by the pool or take one of the many boat trips that are excellent value for money,or for the ladies out there have a good days shopping in one of the many shops or markets but dont forget to barter they expect it.
Then when darkness falls have a wander around all the restaurants and bars but most of all have fun.

Armutulan has a few bars if you want to stay local, we ate at musty's 3 times, they do a mean greek salad and lovely pizza!! They will also give you a lift back up to your hotel for free, which is a bonus and there is rather a steep hill up to the lunamar! We also went many times to TJ's - Great place, great people and great entertainment. We ate their, did karaoke and one night we went after they had closed for some chips and bread - No problem at all and they even popped to the market for the bread as they ran out - Say hello from the 9 Swindon girls if you go there. You can get to marmari on a dolmus for 50p and there are endless bars, resturants and clubs. You can eat on a terrace overlooking the harbour which is very nice in the evening. We went on a boat trip - the Simpsons Boat - For £10 and thats with food and drink included. Music on the boat, a few stops to jump in the clear blue sea and a stop off at a turkish village. TJ will be able to help you book this as he is friends with Zoro and Petro. The market was ok for the experience but so hot I couldn't be bothered to barter. I would deffo go back to marmaris and I usually only like going places once as there is so much of the world to see!!!

I would definitely visit Marmaris again, but would stay in different accommodation. Marmaris is a huge resort with lots to do and see and the weather was fab! We went on two boat trips - one to Paradise Island and one to the Dalyan Mud Bath. These were excellent value for money and you were away all day. The trips cost approx £10 each and included lunch. Marmaris doesn't have the best beach - so if you like to spend your days on the beach Icmeler is probably the best place to go. Overall, we had a great holiday. I will definitely return to Marmaris, but NOT the Ege Park Apartments.

The resort around the hotel was OK for families. I suppose all the entertainment closed about 00.30 but it was chepaer to eat in than Marmaris and the cocktails and drinks were buy one get one free which was nice to drink there before we got the bus.
Went to the local hairdressers there and they were brilliant as well.
The only annoything thing was the local dogs barking at silly hours in the morning.
Yeah and the fun pub opposite the rose pub was brilliant.
And Verde was the fittist ever!!!!!!

Great nightlife and still as friendly as ever. With the recent terrorist scares in Turkey i'd expected it to be a lot quieter but in fact still as popular as ever more, proving how much we love Marmaris and Turkey in general.

This was our 4th time to Marmaris, we love the people and the resort, going this late in the year after the bombs etc we found the resort a lot quieter than normal, now noticing a lot more litter and smells around the resort, the entertainment around the resort is the same has previous years and the beach seemed to be filthy, I know before it was not perfect (far from it) but it is getting terrible now and needs addressing as soon as possible. When we went out in a boat the true colours of the sea were fantastic and very clean it is the shore line thats letting it down. We watched from our balcony some dirty habits of quite a lot of people, even the bin men only taking certain items off the overflowing bins and throwing other items into a ditch / wasteland. Saying this I would still go back to Marmaris simply because of the people we have met over there, but seriously thinking of going somewhere else.

Marmaris is a great place. Food is very cheap. But you get so much hassle walking past the shops. Learn to say no all the time.
