Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

We stayed in Armutalan which is a lovely resort, we know a lot of bars and restaurants from last year, so we took our family to them, they loved it, especially the September Bar and restaurant, we ate there most nights, We would like to thank Steve for his hospitality and funny comments, he did everything to make sure our group of 14 had a great time.

Marmaris is a great resort to go to wev'e been to marmaris 5 times and are definetely going back again. Marmaris is a very clean place the streets are spotless aswell as the bars and restaurants. The resort entertainment is fantastic there are lots of great bars and pubs especially the Amsterdam bar which is a british pub the bar staff are excellent they have a scottish night on a friday which is brill. And the karaokie is excellent to. We never went to the beach much this year but we know from previous years it is brilliant. I will definetely be visiting marmaris again. As we intend to go back again this year in october for a week.

Marmaris is a bit like Blackpool with sun only better. Having travelled to many countries over the years I have found Marmaris to be on the whole clean well maintained with plenty to do from bar street for the young or the delusional older generation through to the food by the harbour from all countries of the world something to suit every pallet.
I would recommend la vita Bella at the harbour for a cocktail try captain George by the harbour/bazaar across the road from the info kiosk.
If you go to the other end of Marmaris by the point centre there is a new restaurant inside point centre selling Turkish food it is superb. Others which supply excellent service and brilliant food are dost, uno memento (try the slow roasted shank of lamb ) oh my god awesome.
Marmaris has entertainment for all the family and no matter what your interests are it will cover it. If you fancy a day or 2 out on the sea go to the harbour and look for a gullet called liberty star, myself and some friends hired it for a day. It was excellent, out to sea, a few stops at quiet places swimming in the sea, meals provided fishing, just a good day out.
I think it would be unfair of me to comment about he standard of the beach at marmaris because I am not a beach lover, I like peace and quiet and no hassle and i flatly refuse to pay for a sunbed unless it comes with a made of gold and comes with free drinks. MY advice to you is when booking your holiday try to book on the outskirts of marmaris armutalan is a good location to stay it is only five or so minutes dolmus ride from Blackpool, sorry I mean Marmaris. It sounds as if I hate the place but I love it. It really is a great place to go and if you have not been to Turkey try this place first you will not be disappointed.

We stayed in Marmaris at the Sediz Apartments, which is just around the corner from Tansas Supermarket, the harbour, the Marina and the Bizarre.
One of the best place to eat is the Mascot, but girls please avoid the waiter Ozkan (Ozzy), he's a ladies man and has more than 5 at a time on the go. He will myther you for money or whatever he can get out of you. The rest of the staff are great though and the foods lovely.

Have been to Turkey twice before and stayed in the main street. It was nice in Armutalan but we missed just being able to shop late at night when it is cooler. The buses were every 2 mins. Went on two boat trips and had fantastic time. The one to the mud baths is a must but arrived back at the hotel over 2 hrs later than we were supposed to. All in all a billiant holiday.

Marmaris is a lovely place to go to, there are loads of restaurants and pubs to go to. The people can be a bit annoying when you are shopping because they do not leave you alone. You can not browse around the shop, they are always encouraging you to buy things. the beach is lovely.

Resort was really clean and tidy. the shop owners can get abit nasty but we never let it effect us as some are really nice. Some really good places to eat, we were spoilt for choice and really cheap.

Marmaris is a very good and clean resort we have been there 4 times now. Each year it gets harder to say goodbye to our Turkish friends at Shara's Bar in the Armutalan area of the resort. They put on a great show every night and everyone is welcome !! There are mot many places that serve bad food in Marmaris and most bars put on a show of some sort. But this year it was very quite in the resort, not as many people as in previous years we have been. But even our Turkish friends say the same, the bird flu scare has damaged business. We'll be back next year as always !!

I loved this resort, the Turkish people are really friendly and will do anything to make sure you have a great holiday. It is really cheap and the food in most places is Fantastic.
You can travel around on the Dolmus for 1 lire and Taxi's are also very cheap.
Jeep Safari is brill and only costs around £6 for the whole day.( make sure you take a water pistol)
Sharas Bar is really good, it is english owned and the food and staff are fantastic.
You do get quite a bit of hassle to look in shops or to eat in places but we just made excused that we were going to meet friend s or we were going home the same day.
