if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

The resort of Marmaris was very nice and the people very friendly although sometimes very persistent. We found the beach very nice and clean but very crowded. The streets of Marmaris is almost litter free and very clean.

Marmaris is beautiful but far too commercialised for my taste. I tried to get a sunlounger on the magnificent beach and I would have paid a nominal daily charge as you do in other resorts. One chap told me "you can have a lounger all day so long as you buy a meal and a drink". When I said the family had eaten and we simply want a lounger he said just buy drinks, say 2,3 or 4 per person. This was going to amount to over £30 to just get a lounger for the family. British owned as well!! He was told where to shove his lounger.
Here, you were hassled from leaving your hotel to getting back to it. You could not walk two paces without being accosted by shopkeepers and restauranters. One saw my family stand from just finishing a meal, we walked onto the pavement and the very next Cafe offered us a table. You have to look straight ahead, once you glance to the shop window you are pounced on and shaking them off is an art. This is every shop you pass so it may pay you to learn a few Turkish swear words so you know what they are saying to you when you ignore them.
You can't haggle very much at Marmaris in fact one of my party was intimidated by three men when he disagreed with the price of some clothing and clearly hurled offensive abuse.
I'll not be going back to Marmaris in my lifetime but Hisaronu i'll go every year from now on. You can haggle there, I even haggled the price of a pint down.
Marmaris is a lovely place but ruined by greed, everyone in competition to get your money with very little courtesy or regard. I was pleased to get back home.
We had many meals at 'Happy face' just off the beach front and the staff there were superb. Especially Ursan. They treated us as people in Hisaronu had treated us the previous year and deserved our custom.
Many boat trips and I would say the Dalyan trip (turtle beach) (Mud baths) was the best.
Not my worst holiday but close to being so, but one thing Turkey always offers is superb heat.

the only problem that we had with marmaris is that every time we passed a bar the boys employed there would try to get you to eat and drink there,they would not take no for an answer and were very ignorant.after about 3 days i just ignored them . do not tell them that you will come back later as they will remember you and will keep on to you and will not leave you alone. my advice to anyone is to say "no thanks" and keep on walking.
beach was really clean and the sea was brilliantly clean
would recomend that you try a boat trip as they are excellent value for money

The resort was very clean, the staff are very friendly and the maids are lovely. The nightlife is great, the beaches are average. And i would DEFINITELY visit this resort again! It is excellent!!

I have been to Marmaris twice now and enjoy the resort. The waiters in the bars are very entertaining and there are plent of nightclubs for the younger generations. The beach is lovely although I have never spent any time on it. I would not visit the resort again purely because of our experience at the Club Armar and also because of the hassle at shops etc - it's becoming a bit of a pain. We spent a holiday in Olu Deniz which is completely different to Marmaris and, if I went back to Turkey, I would probably choose a resort like Olu Deniz - it was absolutely gorgeous.

Marmaris is one of the cleanist restorts i have been to. There are always people out cleaning the streets etc. The entertainment in the resort is good. You can do anything from partying the night away on bar street to boat trips to a Turkish bath. This i must recommend! It is absoult heaven but remember to go at the start of your holiday before you lie in the sun and get burnt. Another good trip is a jeef safari. This takes you through small villages, to waterfalls, a capet making factory etc. This makes for a thoroughly exciting day out and you get to experience things that you normaly wouldn't. A word of warning though - be prepared to get soaked (you dry within 5mins), take water pistols and battles of water with you and wear old clothes. DO NOT take anything that you do not want to get wet!!
Although i never spent alot of time at the beach i did walk along it. It looked very clean and safe and everybody seemed to be enjoying themselves.
I would definitely visit this resort again. In fact i can hardly wait to book for this year.

We were a 5 minute walk away from the shops and restaraunts and a bus journey from the town. Was quite clean and there was plenty of entertainment in the bars.
The kids loved dancing at veronicas bar. Loads of different places to eat. All inclusive boat ride was brilliant and quite cheap too.
Overall on this holiday the only thing I did'nt like was the beach. The sand was too hot!

the resort is very upbeat and theres loads to see and do all day and all night although the beaches are average the sea is clean clear warm and safe it also has a high salt content which gives increased buoyancy so great for those learning to swim, good snorkelling loads of small fish etc, the beaches are all owned by the bars and are in sections, the beach boys are a good laugh and will bring food and drinks to you as you bathe. the nightlife is superb the seafront and the main street that runs parrallel are packed with bars restaurants and shops and the variety of entertainment is vast there are also a lot of side streets of the main beat if you want a quieter night. the turks are really freindly they know how to have a good time and we never had a bad meal in two weeks, just be carefull with drink prices as they do vary and get a bill with each round. they love kids and my two had a great time wherever we went. and yes you will get hassled as you pass restaurants and bars for your custom but i found if you give them a bit of chat and banter back you can have a right laugh they do have a great sense of humour and cracked me up, after all your on holiday so go with the flow and enjoy it.there only doing there job. the shops are the usual mixture of tat n that but if your after a bargain shop about and somewhere among the jewellery , sunglasses and fake designer sportswear your sure to get a bargain. i thought the market was a bit boring and repetative but i got a result on a couple of snide lacosse trackies for the kids i had a good haggle and iv got no shame, give it a go. go. the weather is fantastic and turkey is a beautiful country.. il be back marmaris all my love till then............
