Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

The resort is bursting with bars, shops, restaurants and caring friendly people.
Beaches are shingle, plenty of water sports for everyone, the entertainment in bars and restaurants are fantastic.
We are definatly visiting the resort next year I would recommend you a great holiday.

Marmaris runs on tourism and it's population doubles during the summer months. It is a great fun place and the people here are generally lovely in our opinion. There are people who will hard sell their goods here but they are only trying to make a living during the summer months. If you don't want to buy, be unBritish & walk away - it's just part of the culture. Don't be afraid to say no.
Having said that, there are fun experiences all the time and spending an hour drinking tea in a shop is not really a hardship. I love the place & my family & I all had a great time.

There are many great bars and restaurants nearby without going into the centre of Marmaris. The best out of the lot in our opinion was 'Elvis' restaurant which was a 2 - 3 minute walk from the apartments. The meals are fantastic, and reasonably priced (try out their english breakfasts). Another good bar was 'Sarahs' (opposite Elvis')with night entertainment.

The resort has plenty to do from the many bars and resturants to themed nights etc.,
A fantastic restaurant is Elvis's really good grub,
and Andy's sexy bar is great for cheap drinks and cheesy music we loved it, well worth a visit.

The resort was a fanastic place but it is very busy as Marmaris is a very big place the entertainment was brilliant.
You have to go to Bar X you will have the best time or go down to Bar Street.
The beaches were lovely and your drinks were brought to you so it was so relxing. I would deffinately go here again just watch out for the drivers as they dont stop for you when you cross a road.

Marmaris is a great resort for all ages. There is alot to do both day and night. The boat trips are great and the children especially loved the Turtle bar this is all they thought about for the whole holiday.

We stayed in Marmaris for 2 weeks. The weather was fantastic and the people extremely friendly. The Turkish Bath is a must to visit but do it at the beginning of your holiday as it prepares your skin for the sun tan we all hope to go home with. The market on Thursday is a great experience, if you like to haggle you'll really enjoy aelf. We ate at the Greasy Spoon most nights, the food was good and the staff very friendly.
We found the Taxis easy to use and metred so you know what your being charged.
For party animals Bar Street is the place to go apparently- we had to much fun at our hotel to try it out.
Marmaris is a great family resort and don't forget the gold is a lot cheaper in Turkey than in the U.K

Marmaris is big, there are to may bars and restaraunts to mention.
We never had a bad meal anywhere we ate.The only snag is when you walk past a bar etc you get a bit of hassle trying to get you in.If your polite and say no thanks, its no problem.
For the younger persons who like clubs etc there is bar street. The beach is long, the sea is very calm. There is the usual water sports you would expect. Again there are bars/restaraunts along the beachfront, many offer free sun beds,so long as you buy a drink. The main road between Marmaris and Icmeler is very busy and the drivers will not stop for you so be very careful when crossing especially with young children.
There are plenty of shops to buy from, clothes etc but remember to look around before you buy and haggle.there is a market close to the apartments on Thursday's and a large market in Marmaris as well.
Icmeler has a market on Wednesday's. Travel is mainly by Dolmus a small bus, which run between Marmaris and Icmeler which is cheap but can be overcrowded. We went on 2 boat trips which were enjoyable, but dont do the night cruise which normally comes free if you book 2 trips or more.It will bore you to bits.
Overall a fantastic holiday, but we came here 2 years ago and we have noticed the increase in prices since the money was revalued, although it is still reasonable to eat and drink.

After arriving in Icmeler we found it was disgusting anyone deciding on going there really shouldnt dont stay in the miramonte apartments they are in the mountains in the middle of no where.
We were then moved to the Sindy apartments and was really pleased.
The staff are really friendly especially Hasan, Carl and Footy. The manager could do with cheering up but nevermind him.
Nearby there are a lot of shops and restaurants I recommend Uncle Sams delicious food and very friendly staff especially Richie, Alex and Sam. Also Sams son Zack is so adorable. Keep on walking and you can catch the dolmus buses into central marmaris for 40p cheap as chips!!!
Also next to the sindy apartments there is a apartment called club happy days very helpful and cheerful people especially Ali, mini ali g looks splitting image and many others.
I throughly enjoyed my time at Turkey it is like my second home and I am dying to go back next year. So people get booking to Turkey as you are missing out on a great holiday love Danielle xxxxxxxx
