Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is a very very busy resort with very pushy restaurant workers who do hassle you. When changing money make sure you tell them you have travellers cheques and not English money as they use different rates for these, but do not tell you they do. If you want a good steak meal do go to Natalies on beach front.

The resort of Marmaris we found to be as lively as you wanted with a wide range of bars, shops and restaurants. However the staff were always trying to drag you into their bar/restaurant which gets extremely annoying and can ruin a night out.
There were a wide range of shops selling designer replicas.
Frequent but brief power cuts and smelly drains were part of the norm.
We recommend taking English money as well as Turkish money as they accept both in most shops.
The beach is fairly clean but is shingle.

Resort was fine. Plenty entertainment to go to if you wanted. A lot of restaurants had entertainment on - be it belly dancers, michael jacksons or just the staff having a dance.

Marmaris is a very lively holiday resort, something for everyone, but also peace and quite could be found if you required it.
There are lots of trips that you can do from Marmaris.
This was our 5th visit and it won't be our last.

Plenty to do, loads of bars & restaurants.
The markets are a good place to go for a bargin, but prices are coming more in line with main-land Europe. Spend English money there as often you get a little more for your money.
If you can stand the hassel then visit the covered market for all the latest fake goods!
The beach is very busy and has very little space taht isn't occupied by a sunbed, we use the poool.

The resort itself is ok. A busy place ideal for young people and certainly plenty of clubs etc where you can dance and drink until whatever hour. If only I was 20 years younger!!! The choice of resturants is great providing you know how to deal with them trying to drag you in them. There are plenty bars with entertainment, however beware of the cost of drinks in 1 bar we paid 39 turkish lira for 4 drinks whilst in another we had a few drinks for only 56 turkish lira.
The beach is ok although it does get very packed. The choice of excursions are quite good and in general I enjoyed the atmosphere of Marmaris. There shops are plentiful but the problem is they are packed with copies of all disigner names and if you attemept to even look at anything they are pestering you to buy. A shame really cos if you could look round the shops with a little more ease I certainly would have bought more than I did.
We visisted Marmaris Market which was an experience. "Cheap as chips", "cheaper than Asda" etc is what they call out, which takes away some of the culture of a typical market.
I wouldn't say I wouldn't vist Marmaris again, but if I did I certainly would be alot more cautious about the hotel I booked in too. I feel I paid a reasonable price for the holiday, however I received a raw deal. My friend stayed in another hotel up the road from us which was much nicer. Make sure you pick your hotel with care!!!
