Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Like i said Marmaris is a lovely place..
there is always something to do.
There is always a differant resturant to eat in.
The Turkish men are a bit ''touchy feely' but they can be lovely..if you put them straight.=p

Well what a place....great. I am missing it already!!
There is LOADS to do and for people like me who are BORN TO SHOP.....absolutely wonderful. A lot of the shops are the same sort of thing but I still thought it was great.
The only thing I couldn't get to grips with and found extremely annoying, as I haven't been to Turkey before so didn't know about it, was the constant hassle from shopkeepers. You only have to look in their direction or at their shop and they pounce on you like vultures...and I didn't like the haggling bit!!
I could have done great damage to my bank balance there though and would take more money next time. I paid for most of my stuff in Euro's, my partner in Lira but next time I would just take sterling as they are fine about paying in that too...makes life easier for me. Also, if you enter a shop, you can't just browse like we do here, you are constantly pestered and can't look at your leisure.
That is the only detrimental thing I'd say though. I think Marmaris is a fantastic place and we loved it.

Marmaris has grown incredibly since the last time I was there (1996). In May, it was very quiet but we expected that. I feel it is now too big and would probably not venture there in peak holiday season

Where our hotel was it was near the centre of Marmaris, which was brilliant.
All the shopkeepers are really friendly, and it's good fun to haggle with the shopkeepers for their goods. However it can get a little annoying as they are all trying to get you in the shops and restaurants.
If you are planning to come to Marmaris I would recommend a self catering basis, as the food in the restaurants is top class, and very cheap.
A little tip which works wonders in the shops is: if you think the price is too high and the shopkeeper won't go lower, put the items back and prepare to walk out the shop, it's amazing how much the price will come down.
The beach at Marmaris is terrible, it's really small, and I mean small. The sunloungers are all owned by shopkeepers and restaurants, who will charge for there use. Our hotel offered a free shuttle bus to Icmeler beach, which was handy. But you can get on a local dolmus (bus) for next to nothing.
I have just arrived back from my holiday yeaterday, and I'm already looking to go back in September/October.

Marmaris is the best resort to visit.
The entertainment is mainly for english, lots of bars do english breafasts. Marmaris is very clean no rubbish on the sreets, dolumus bus are very cheap between 40p-70p and there up and down all day long.
Yes I would visit Marmaris again, as the Turks are very friendly. The beach is shingle and stones, sun loungers are free but you then have buy your drinks off the hotel where your beds are situated.
Hope this report helps anyone looking to visit.

The people are friendly - though some sellers were very pushy to get you to buy things and wouldn't take no for an answer.
Beach was gravely/rocky and not very good for children.
Boat Rides were brilliant.
Shops are plenty.
Might consider another trip to Marmaris but in a quiter area.
Best place we found was a Restaurant called 'Boleros' along the main road - the food and staff were excellent and helpful with anything you wanted to know about places to go etc.
