Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is a very busy resort with lots of street cafes, leather, tee shirt and watch shops,
the Turks tend to hassle you as you walk past there premises, but you soon learn to ignore them.
Marmaris is getting quite expensive so be cautious, as the guys will try and get every little penny out of you. Marmaris is very easy to travel around. Just hop on a bus for as little as 30p and you can soon find yourself in the town of ichmeller, which is very nice.
Agree a price with the taxi driver, before you get in, as they charge whatever they want.
We would recomed two cafe's cousons and Elvis in Amulatalan
both places were very good value for money and excellent food.
try and find a shop that will exchange your travelers cheques as they will offer a better exchange rate.
all in all turkey is a nice place and well worth a visit

Great restaurants - to name but a few - O'Yes, Scotts, Uno Momento and The Garden. In fact a waiter in O'Yes gave us a CD to take home and refused to take payment when offered. The beach was a bit disappointing. They could do with a shipment of decent sand to cover the shingle. That was the only negative thing to say about Marmaris.

Have been to Marmaris 3 times now and think the beaches have gone down hill again, went once and then gave it a miss.
Prices have gone up quite a lot since last May and many shops and market stalls no longer barter (although some will so give it a go. There are plenty of different places to eat and drink, ask other guests where is good.
One useful bit of info I learnt this year is that it is actually illegal for waiters etc to talk to you as you pass. I did not feel as rude ignoring them!

The hotel said it had a private beach there was about 20 sunbeds and bar where you had to pay to get a drink the resort and the people we're great but I'd never go to blue bays deluxe again.

Marmaris was beautiful. The people were friendly although it did get a bit much continually being hassled although it did not spoil our holiday.
All of the people we met were so nice and great to the kids making a fuss of them etc.
If you want a good meal then go to mascots at Marmaris. Everyone there was great especially the twins September and October who were a real laugh.
The food was great anf the atmosphere was buzzing. For a great breakfast go to Uncle Sams everyone there lovely especially Alex who made you feel at home.

It was very clean throughout Marmaris.
There were plenty of places for entertainment e.g. bellydancing, Elvis Presley Bar. The Amsterdam Bar was very entertaining for children with their tortoises and fancy dress outfits. My daughter loved it.
The beach was very poor - black grit (very disappointed).

The shopkeepers ( esp jewellers ) and bar / restaurant owners pester the life out of you. You couldn't stop to read a menu or look in a shop window without instant hassle, an absolute pain, really spoilt the holiday. Yes you can say no, but it is constant. Avoid the bazaar at all costs it is hassle paradise !
The entertainment was so so with about half a dozen acts doing the rounds in some very ( but not all ) laddish bars, reminded me of Magaluf. Many local bars were spot on with good food, drinks and friendly staff.
The resort itself is very pretty and very scenic, the lazy day boat trip is a must for about £6 inc lunch.
The Rhodes trip is also good, you can even look round the shops there - hassle free.
Overall if they could stop the hassle I may well return but as it is - no way !

Marmaris is a lovely resort with plenty to offer all people of all ages. I have visted many times but on this occasion i have had a bad hotel which has put me slightly off.
The turkish are very friendly and restaurants serve a good choice of quality dishes which are well presented.
