Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Hassle, hassle, hassle is the name of the game here.
We are not rude people but by the end of the 2nd day it got so irritating that we stopped even saying no thanks and just started ignoring them.
It is very very noisy and busy 24 hours a day and this did cause us all a problem with sleeping even in the afternoon.
We would not book a holiday here again.

This was our first visit to Turkey and Marmaris all the things i'd heard about it being dirty and smelly COULD NOT be further from the truth.
However as we were half board and all bar one night ate at the hotel we did'nt appreciate as we walked down to the resort centre being asked although politly (most of the time) "you eat at my resturant" and when told you've already eaten then asked "you come in for drink then". You may feel that im being pettie but in Marmaris there are probably somewhere in the region of four to five hundered resturants so it does get somewhat repetetive.
On the one evening we did eat out we tried the Indian at the cross roads its the only one advertised and the food , staff and price were all excellent.
Its a shame that you can not brouse the shops at your lesure without hassle but the competition is so strong they probably feel you would not buy without it. The sooner they learn this the better because this did put us off going back and of course 3 grown men doing the "AGA DO" IS CLASSED AS ENTERTAINMENT.
We might try a differant part of Turkey but would give Marmaris a miss.
P.S although not kareoke goers Captains pub on the beach prom was excellent with some great singers two of which i gave a standing ovation.

Marmaris is very cosmopolitan, it has a beautiful marina with some fantastic boats, and boat trips a plenty.
The turkish people at the restaurants are lovely lovely they go out of their way to entertain you and make you feel welcome. We had a brilliant night at September bar when Liverpool were playing in Istanbul all the staff were dressed in Liverpool shirts. The food is really nice too, lots of chicken and steak and kebabs.
The beach is really small and has very dark sand, however just a short water taxi away is Icmeler which has a lovely beach.
There a lots and lots of bars/restaurants in Marmaris, so many to choose from but they all more or less have the same food. The best meal I had was chicken plank-chicken steak with bernaise sauce served on a wooden plank with piped mash potato all around it, and veg.
I would definately go back to Marmaris.

The resort has a great atmosphere and is clean.
The Turkish people are friendly and yes, of course, want you to go to their bar or buy from their shop. They are polite people and if you smile and say no thank you they smile back, its lovely to walk around a town and feel safe.
The resturants on the beach and harbour area are really good, the bars are lively and the clubs go on all night in one area of the old town called bar street.
Can't wait to get back.

I loved Marmaris the marina is stunning with all the beautifull boats and lovely restaurants.
I was on my own with the children for a week and felt very safe walking about day and night. Walked down bar street and beach front where all the bars and clubs are and wished I was 18 again !
Never went to the beach so can't comment on the standard. Went on the lazy day cruise on the mega Diana which was great cheap and free drinks all day. Jeep safari was a great day out too, you get to see some of the countryside away from resort and the waterfights with the other jeeps are good fun too.
