Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Not so keen on the shops, especially in the Bazzar, we found them rude and annoying. the shops and bars at the beach side were far friendlier and we bought items from them. beautiful bay with beautiful views. rather busy , our hotel was away from the hussle and bussle which suited us fine.

This was our first time in marmaris. I was very impressed even local bars/restaurants were of a high standard. The turkish people are outstanding, they can't do enough for you. The service in all the bars/restauants is second to none obviously competition for customers is high and everyone tries to offer that little bit extra. The food is excellent I don't think in two weeks we had a bad meal and it is very good value too. The beach is a bit like grit but still nice though. The water park is worth a visit 19 Mill TL per person for the day. The Thursday market is a must for some cracking bargains, towels,T shirts,Onyx, leather etc all 'cheap as chips' as they say persistently. Be prepared to haggle hard and you will secure some really good deals they would rather sell to you than you buy from the next stall. Icmeler is worth a visit a much more relaxed and low key resort. The restaurants there are very good too. Only been back a week and already planning next years holiday - you guessed it Turkey but possibly Icmeler this time.

Marmaris was abusy lively seaside town, full of shops, markets and a fab bazaar. The weekly market was great, fab food and turkish delight to die for. The shops, bazaar and market full of shopping bargins. The shop keepers etc were keen but not over bearing and all very helpful. We went on the water taxi to turunc for the day, it was great. a small beach but very nice.also got on a tour baot at the quay and went out for the day, £2 for the small children and £4 for the rest of us. It was the best day of the holiday and we all wished we had done it earlier so we could have done it again.Dolumus buses were great, but taxis also good at night if you agree price first-great range of prices for same journey. a lovely place. I would live here.

Marmaris was extremely busy and tourists are hassled by locals to eat at their restaurants etc but a polite response is usually adequate. Marmaris is great for kids but not as scenic as Icmeler and other resorts where the pace is much slower.Loved the old town and Turkish people were very kind and helpful.

The resort is really clean and the marina was really nice. The entertainment on a night was really good you will have to visit bar street and the pub round about it. The beach was really nice but the sand is really hot and burns your feet. It only cost a small local charge for the beds but you can stay there all day.

We are not beach people fortunately, because there isn't one really. Although the bay is spectacular.
Their is plenty of bars and shops, but what a minefield. If you don't mind hassle and been intimidated by shop owners and waiters this is for you, however if you want somewhere civilised avoid the main areas.

marmaris on the whole we very much enjoyed, beach very long but not very wide, sand was very course. for shopping it was paradise. bars on the sea front were very good drink and food very good and cheap all nationalitys catered for. entertainment in the bars was very good, all sorts going on (break dancers, belly dancers, barmen shows, magic shows, folkdanceing and many more) we found this resort both quiet and lively depending on what you wanted. we would definately return to marmaris

I found Marmaris town to be very commercialized, it reminded me a bit of Blackpool but with the sun. There were some very nice restaurants and bars and I particularly enjoyed the day trips out - e.g. Jeep Safari (which you get soaked on)and boat trips which are very reasonably priced./ If you go abroad on holiday to find fish 'n' chips and full sunday roast (beef & yorkshire pudding with 'bisto' gravy) then you won't go wrong in Marmaris./ The shops are very cheap for fake gear but you do have to haggle down the price - reduce it by at least a quarter.

Resort had something for everyone. One end has bar shows and caberet (Appolion) while the other has bar street and the bazar. Don't take too much in your case going out, you can buy it there. Big bath/ beach towels 'cheap as chips'.Jeans and tshirts in plentiful supply. boxers are 20 pairs for £10 or go for the better quality with a makers label in. Watches, jewellery, hand bags, shoes all in abundance and as cheap as your bartering makes it.
If you're a beach person go elsewhere.
