Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

I had a really great time staying in Marmaris and I would recommend it to people of all ages.
The people are friendly and the girls will have a great time shopping or relaxing by the pool and soaking up the sun. And for the guys theres always the bars with the cheap drinks.
It's amazing

Marmaris itself was great. Plenty to see and do and the Turkish are so friendly. The only down side is they pester you to come in to their bar every time you walk by but once you say no they are ok about it. The talk of the town has a show on every night it is a drag show and well worth the money. You get a free drink and a meal and the show, and it is only £15 and half price for kids.

This was our 2nd visit to marmaris we love the resort so much that we have booked for the 3rd year running next year.
The people are so friendly. Plenty of bars cheap food. The beach is a shingle beach so can be quite rough on your feet.
Excellant trips to go on try the jeep safari a really fun day out costs just £10 each for adults and children free this is with lunch included.
Also the 5 bay trip this costs as little as £5 for adults and children free lunch included as well!

Marmaris is a big place and very commercialised. The seafront is jam packed most days. The resort is a bit like Blackpool on the Med but ace for nightlife if thats your style, plenty of bars and clubs. The scenery is outstanding though and the views amazing. We found the local people very friendly but they can be a bit pushy when inviting you to eat or shop in their establishment. In the quieter resorts in the area a simple "no thanks" usually sufficed. There are some great bargains to be had, jewellery, leather and copied brand name clothes, but be careful when buying t-shirts, jeans etc. Make sure you open the packaging in the shops to look at the quality. Boat trips are worth going on and value for money. If food gets boring try the Taj Mahal for a curry or The Golden Dragon for a chinese. Marmaris is a lovely place and I am sure a lot of people would love it but we just prefer something a bit more low key.

Marmaris is a great place, the night life is excellent even for my 7 and 13 year old kids.
Great food wherever you eat excellent food at the Portofino restaurant.
The resort is very clean although the beach is a bit of a let down

Marmaris itself is for people of all ages. There are plenty of bars and clubs for youngsters but is also suitable for the older generation aswell. The day trips are well worth a try especially the mud baths and a boat trip. Also turkish baths are very popular but you should be careful as the prices vary. The turkish love English money especially when you are buying clothes or jewellery. It is a great place for shopping. They also trust you a lot and in some of the bigger companies they will let you pay a deposit there and then, you take your goods home and you can pay the rest when you get home. They also do this with the Turkish carpets and they will also ship them out for you and deliver them to your door. We had a brilliant holiday and would definitely go back to Marmaris and seray forest especially as in a few weeks they are closing down and having a Turkish bath put downstairs and lot's more work done to make it even better for next year. We were very anxious before we went but we loved every minute of it and would highly recommend it.

Marmaris has an awful smell everywhere, the beach which is only about 5 metres wide is filthy and the beach water is brown and full of rubbish.
The men at the beach who continually hassle you to sit at the sun loungers charge you approx £1.20 to £1.60 to sit on the sun loungers but not sure what for as the beach isn't clean.
We did however find a spot where we didn't have to pay to use the sun loungers, the staff at the adjoining restaurant Salem leave you alone unless you call them for drinks or food, and the beach and sea water was clean.
There are hundreds of bars and restaurants, but believe what you hear about Turkey and the men do hassle you. At first its funny but after a few days it is very depressing and you start to feel very angry when you go out as you simply cannot browse through shops and daren't look at the restaurant menu's as they will literally drag you into their bar/ restaurant, and shout abuse if you choose not to eat there.
Absolutely nothing to do in the day unless you are a sun worshipper. Only thing to do is fill your days with excursions, even though there are hundred of shops you are too afraid to buy anything as everyhting is fake or of cheap quality including the hundreds of jewellery shops as told to us by our Turkish tour guide on an excursion. Turkey isn't as cheap as eveyone makes out unless you know where to look.
Would highly recommend Sherwoods as beer is only 55p per glass, and half a roast chicken with chips and salad about £1.85. Food there is delicious and the staff leave you alone to eat your meal unlike the other places we ate at.
Would never go back to Marmaris ever again as this isn't the real Turkey, just Britain in the sun.
Marmaris is too commercialised, everything there is fake and the people have simply put us off Turkey for a few good years yet.
