if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

The best meal we had during our stay was down at the harbour at a restaurant called 1001 Nights ( he claimed to be the tallest man in marmaris at 6ft 8). Fantastic meal and great service.

Would have bought more if we weren't pestered so much once we ventured into the shops, close enough to walk into Mamaris but ask how much drinks are before ordering in places that don't advertise and don't look in the expensive jewellers windows if you don't seriously think of buying, we were chased by an angry pestering salesman because we made a dash when he went to price a watch for us, fabulous boat trips, fabulous restaurants will definately go again but to icmeler it seems more relaxed

The resort of Marmaris is unfortunately a perfect example of a beautiful area completely ruined by greedy sleaze. There is a con artist in almost every shop trying to physically drag you inside where he can pressure you to pay more than an item's worth. Prices are either disguised or written in different currencies (if shown at all), all in an effort to make you pay more than is fair. The initial £10 'visa' to get into Turkey in the first place should have been an early warning of this deceptive culture. It is impossible to walk down a street without waiters/barmen/shopkeepers shouting at you to "listen to me my friend", it's 24hr harrassment. The beach is some mixture of fine-grain-gravel & dirt, but if you venture there, be prepared to be bothered non-stop by sunbed-hawkers or excursion sellers. There is a smell of sewerage which surfaces with regularity everywhere you go, but eventually you just get used to it. The entertainment consists solely of young turkish barmen dancing topless in an amatuer fashion for the pleasure of women and girls in the many bars - no doubt in an effort to gain favours from these women in one form or another - if this isn't your cup of tea, ie. if you're a straight male, a family or simply a couple , then there is nothing else for you except drinking expensive alcohol. Icemeler, close by, is a much more relaxed version of Marmaris and all the better for it, although like Marmaris, there isn't enough to do. Basically i would never return to Marmaris, and unfortunately it has put me off turkey altogether.

This was our second time to marmaris and we found it a bit more expensive than last year. Last year we did all the excursions jeep safari,quad tour etc so found this year not much to do. Ok if you want to just relax but if like us you like to keep busy then unless you fancy doing all the excursions you did before then it is pretty boring.

Resort of Marmaris was very nice, plenty of entertainment however wild or quiet you want it.
Locals very friendly, pretty cheap for food, drink gifts etc.

We have Been to Marmaris 9 Times now we love this resort and everything about it from the weekly market to the night life it has something to offer all ages, The beach is great cause there is no real tide so from sunbed to sea is just a couple of feet, We stayed in the Blue Bays which is really close to the beach

very clean resort,couldn't ask for better,entertainment was just that finishing at a reasonable time so you could actually get some sleep ready for thge following day.I would 't hestitate to return here,it was a great holiday.
