if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

The Albatros is situated about 10-15 mins from the beach, which was lovely.The beach nearer the harbour wasnt very clean.We catched the Dolmus (bus) into town which is really handy as walking far in the heat is too much, this cost 1.25 lira which is cheap.Lots to do and see, the castle, marina, shops and markets were great. Only one thing wrong..the shop and resturant owners are very very pushie, and constantly trying to get your attention, to the point that you couldnt look at anything.If there are offers like buy 2 drinks for the price of 1,check out the drink prices first as we found they were greatly inflated to accomodate the offer. Yes we would visit Marmaris again.Its a lovely place, and very little beasties!!

this was our 5th time in marmaris so you could say we like it.i have hardly ever seen a bin, but the resort is super clean (amazing).
the resort boasts entertainment to suit every taste, whether its nightclubs for the young uns on barstreet, cheap resteraunts or expensive places to eat. the bazaar and markets of marmaris and iclemer alike are an absolute shoppers paradise. you can take trips galore and the boat trips from the harbour are great. the best relaxing trip of the holiday is on the amazon boat owned by george & gertrude, sailing round the bays of marmaris and snorkeling in crystal clear waters (with none of the loud music playing that a lot of the other boats have)
the beach at marmaris is only a small affair which the beachfront bars seem to have a monopoly on but there are plenty of sunbeds available and its clean.
all in all marmaris is a brilliant resort and i would say give it a try. your turkish lira goes further than any of the now euro ruined resorts.

Marmaris is clean some eating houses are nice most of the people are nice the beach is small stones not sand go to talk of the town its a good night also the jeep safari its a laugh and it made one good day of the holiday you get wet,feed and all for £12.50 for the day

Marmaris is a busy resort especially in the centre around the harbour.
If you don't like being hassled by every single shop keeper then stay away!!!!! They seemed to be very persistant this year and follow you down the road trying to sell you things.
Marmaris beach is not good and we didn't go during the day at all, but it is nice to walk along the beach road in the evenings

You can get a number 2 bus into the centre, very cheap but drive like nutters and really pack the bus out!
Beach ok only spent 1 day there and that was to sunbathe!
Lots of shops in the centre, dont pay the price they ask, knock them down and you will get many bargains!

beach is a mess, diesel floating from all the boat trips. The beach is very narrow with sunbeds crammed next to each other, we won't be back.

the resort was very clean, entertainment was fantastic,the beach is very clean but narrow,lots to see and do,the turkish people are so friendly,they were lovely.we will definetly be coming back next year to same resort and apartments.

this was my first time in amutlan area which was clean and loads of pubs in area went to flares a few times and really enjoyed it.dident go to beach as hate sand but went in to marmaris centre loads. would go to this resort and hotel again.

had some good meals out excellent place to stay lots to do and not a lot of hassel of the shop and street traders would defo go to marmaris again

Marmaris was bustling with shops and bars. Very clean resort not too much hassle from shopkeepers or bars. It's a good place for a family holiday but very hot! Entertainment in the bars was a bit limited to the odd Turkish night and footy!
