if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Do not go you will regret it we tried to change hotel as soon as we arrived couldn't do it.

Didn't get to see much of the resort I mainly hung around the hotel, went on jeep safari which were cool and two boat trips one to Dalyan which were a really nice place.

Marmaris was lovely and I would most definately visit again. The shops, markets and resturaunts can be a bit wearing due to people jumping out and hassling you to buy or eat there. Most are ok and will take no for an answer, but you have to be firm. We regularly ate at the Picadilly. The food, service and staff were fantastic, friendly without being over familiar and I strongly recommend that you try it. It has a play area, free computer access and play station for the kids.
The quality of most of the clothes is really high and just because they aren't genuine doesn't mean they are poor quality. Just be careful that you get what you have paid for, you need to check it before you leave the shop or stall and don't expect to get a reciept for anything whether you buy it from a shop or not.

You do get A LOT of hassle from the locals to go in every single shop/bar/whatever and it does become a little annoying!
There is a big supermarket about 15 mins walk away which sells everything (including nappies & wipes etc if you have a baby)The market is literally 5 mins or less walk away selling fake designer goods galore, make sure you barter as they do ask silly prices and you usually get stuff for half of what they asked for!
Resort is very clean, no litter or anything on the streets.

Been to Marmaris twice, we love it. Beach is a bit dirty in parts but tourists don't help leaving rubbish on the beach.
Visit the harbour and the castle it makes a change then just sitting about.
We would go back but properbly leave it a few years.

We never spent much time in Marmaris, only went down the front to have a look, book a boat cruise and the taxi boat to Icmeler.
Only problem was the hassle you get from the bars and restuarants. We like to eat when we are ready to not when asked to.
The shops were okay, we ended up in a typical Turkish gift shop on our last night, my husband tried the Hubba Bubba Pipe and ended up buying one which he uses at home, though we dont smoke cigarettes.
Never tried any of the entertainment, but will do next year as we heard the Talk Of The Town does a good show. Good meal at the Taj Mahal Indian Restuarant which is in a good spot to people watch.
We tend to holiday end September beginning of October as we dont like the hot weather. Ideal time to visit, not too busy even the boat trip was well under the numbers.

It was a very clean hotel, there are cleaners that come round every day and clean your room, met some people and said they had property stolen only real problem .
There was two Turkish nights within the sapce of two weeks, one night was done by one of the staff at the resort, the other was a bigger night and had other people come in such as a snake man a belly dancer, breakdancers and haad some brilliant Turkish food .

Mamaris was very busy and clean .
The beach wasnt up to much and the market was fab if a little overwelming with everyone trying to sell the stock before the end of the season.

Marmaris is a lovely resort with spectacular views of the bay. It is up to the individual as to whether you have a quiet or lively holiday as it caters for all tastes. The choice of restaraunts is extensive and there are many day drips readily available at reasonable prices. A trip to Rhodes only takes 45 minutes on the Catamaran and is good value to get your extra duty frees under EU regulations (keep receipts as proof on return to England). Gold is a good buy and the markets are excellant value as are the shops. The Turkish people absolutely adore the British and are avid football fans!!

First time in turkey...really really enjoyed it.I was staying in marmaris but mostly ended up in icmeler but all round it was good.Wonder Boys in Icmeler was amazing going back next year i've decided haha really friendly people and brilliant entertainment.Never got to the beach but it looked clean so i gave it a 5!Would recommend turkey to everybody!!!

Marmaris is a fab place but i spent so much money i need a year to save up to come back again ha ha but well worth coming!!!!!!!!!11
