if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Only bad part I can think of is the sales men trying to get you to buy, very touchy feely and didn't know the meaning of personal space.

Did not see much of Marmaris - kids wanted to stay in teh pool most of the time! but apart from some letching shop keepers the town was fine - the turkish baths is a must the trip to DAlyan and the turtle beach is also a must. The Atlantis Waterpark is great and with all the offers of a discount if you eat at the restaurant I would recommend the food there too! Everything is basic, but clean and cheerful - would definitely explore further as did not really see the old town Marmaris at all!

Not much of a beach to comment on, but it was clean. Very lively resort and had something for everyone

Marmaris was ok even for three girls who are used to the likes of club 18-30's resorts. The nightlife in Bar street just past the marina is a lot more traditional in the way of that there are alot more turks who hang up there. but saying that we only went up there once but did see quite alot of clubs and bars with groups of people in, not that we hardly saw any english people,mostly turkish,russian dutch,etc.
we spent the rest of the holiday partying at the bars and clubs on the beach front which is a good 20-30 minute walk around the bay opposite the marina. down the beach front there are lots of resturants, bars and clubs, all brilliant, cheaper than bar street, more english speaking people down there, and more english holiday makers.
The beach in marmaris isnt fantastic it was more like sunbathing on a pile of grit, like a building site full of ciggarette ends and bottles.the beach at icmeler is way better. all in all a great place but beware of turkish men they like english women and children and start grabbimg you, we very nearly had some fights with them but if your loud rather than quiet they seem to back off.

This was my first time in Maramaris and i would definitley go back again. There is so much for everyone of all ages to do. the turkish are brilliant and cant do enough for you. The dolmus service and boat trips allow you to see a bit more of Turkey other than just the resort,

We stayed at the quieter end of Marmaris. It is an excellent resort with someone for everyone and really caters for children and adults. The Turkish people are very kind and friendly. You do get a bit of hassle but you just have to be polite and keep walking.
I would definately recommend the Sera Beach Bar (otherwise known as Geordie Bar) This is a good fun bar offering entertainment and excellent food. The beach/bar offers free sunbeds and is clean and sandy.
We booked several trips though beach kiosks which were half the price the Rep wanted to charge and were very good value for money. Would highly recommend the mud bath cruise and lazy day cruise.
I will be returning to Marmaris next year with my family.

Marmaris is clean and the centre came as a bit of a shock as it was so busy (we have never been to a busy resort and at night time it put us in mind of Times Square in New York!!!)
Didn't partake of the resort entertainment or restraunts as we ate in the hotel. Much hassle to get you into the bars and restraunts which can really p you off, you just have to learn to ignore them.
The same applies to the stores. We went to the bazzar one night and felt really intimidated by the shopkeepers to the extent that you daren't look into the shops in case you caught their eye - they are very persistant.
Didn't use the beach, it looked average but quite crowded

this was my first time in turkey so i did not know what to expect.I had expected to barter to get a good price but the hassle took some getting used to, every single shop wanted you to go in and buy something and you cant just ask how much something is you have to pick the colour and size and how many you want first. But by the end of the holiday i was getting used to it. We went to the markets at Marmaris and Icemeler, they were excellent but crowded and very hot. We got lots of bargains and when we flew home we stood with our fingers crossed while they weighed the cases.Fortunately we were all under weight, just.
We spent a couple of days at the beach and even though its just a small beach it was very clean and if you bought your drinks at any of the bars you get the sunbeds and umbrellas free, with waiter service as well. I dont think i would go back to Marmaris it was a bit like Blackpool but with sunshine. I would like to go to Icemeler or Olu deniz next time. Apart from the usual illnesses like holiday tummy and broken bones we all had a good holiday.

People told us you will feel right at home coming from Blackpool.nothing could be further from the truth.
I found Marmaris spotless. So many different bars every one will find one that will suit their own tastes.
Beaches are narrow but again clean and have all the things you could wish for.

Marmaris resort was clean & tidy with no signs of litter around the streets, there was always plenty of entertainment going on in the surrounding bars & restaraunts, the beach was of volcanic sand(black in colour)and the sea was clear and clean.
