if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

most defitnetly third time and will still be returning at some point the future
can`t ever get bored of marmaris or turkey for that matter

marmaris was kept lovely and clean alot of the pubs we went to last year now closed down due to new goverment regulations so we were told,the beach was lovely and clean the lads who work in alexandras beach front are great treat you like royalty,marmaris has so much to offer everyone great people great shops great food roll on 2007

This is the second time we have been to Marmaris and enjoyed it just as much second time around. If anything we found it a little cheaper than last year. Would definitely recommend going on the lazy day cruise (all inclusive 20 lira) brilliant value and also the jeep safari. The people are really friendly. Would definitely return to Marmaris again

Marmaris itself is a bit scary if it's your first visit. Luckily we were with friends who have been several times before. The locals are a bit pushy trying to get you into their restaurants and shops but be polite, say no thanks and they are very respectful.
We spoke to a few locals who said they found some nationalities very rude telling them to ---- when all the Turkish want you to do is have a joke with them. say no if necessary and be polite. Only thing we would say DO NOT DO is go into the bazaar jewellery shops. They are very very pushy, bit like timeshare sellers, hard sell and hard to get out of shop. Jewellery is fab but try shops on the street not in the bazaar and be very clear about saying no..... or offer half what they ask!!!
We bought t shirts, few watches, bit of leather etc... and they were good value but don't rush into the first thing you see, shop around for a few days or you will get conned.
Watersports are cheap and we would recommend Crazy Sports opposite solaris shopping centre. Fixed prices, safety aware and good equipment.
In all we had a great week, hired jeeps, rode scooters, did loadsa watersports, ate and drank well and had fun with the locals.
Would definitely go back and hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did..........

Bins in marmaris are few and far between really could do with a lot more. Entertainment is all over really good. Beach is kept clean but water not as clean as you think it would be. Highly recommend going on boat trips really good. Yes would go back to resort, Fantastic./

marmaris is to commercialised for us get a lot of hassel off people wanting you to go into their shop/restaurant.harbour lovely just a shame about all the hassal you get.

Armutalan is one of the suburbs of Marmaris. A dolmus takes you into the heart of the resort for pennies. There are clubs and bars to suit everyone, I'd recommend a visit to the floor show at the Talk of the Town, part of the Cheers complex. This is a show not to be missed.
There are probably hundreds of posts telling readers what the resort is like so I'll just say that as a first time visitor, I can't wait to go back.

The resort was clean. The entertainment was really good. The beach was 2 minute walk away, although very crowded at times

Marmaris is a very lively tourist town with plenty of bars and restuarants and clubs in Bar Street. The nearby beach at Iclemer is much quieter and cleaner. There are also lots of shops with plenty of haggling to do.
