if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris has the best indain takeaway called Taj mahal chef from Bradford.
A few words that might help you is Salom(Thanks), Merabubba (hello). Captains bar is really good.
If you have never been to Turkey before when bar staff in bars food places say you eat in my place please don't say tomorrow or later as they will remember you the whole time your there, also please don't be rude just say no thanks or (no parreok) means no money they leave you a lone then.
Marmaris is cleaner than England. The beach is more rocks and pebbles than sand. The night life in Marmaris is never ending ,(but Bar street is very exspensive for drinks so be aware).

Marmaris the equivilent of Blackpool. If you are looking for leather, t-shirts, jeans, t-shirts, turkish delight and t-shirts this is the place to go. The resort is busy, pushy and money generated. Try to stay outside the center like us at Armulatan, much nicer.

The entertainment was good. The trips such as the mud baths, jeep safari, Turkish night were all really good. Meals plus drinks included in the price. We booked with the reps as we were sure that we were insured to British standards. This was more expensive but worth it for peace of mind. Marmaris beach was a good beach but quite alot of litter. The Turkish people are really friendly and always willing to chat. You learnt more about Turkey by doing this.

marmaris itself is brill,my family will never go to spain,canaries or any where else ever again,its a cosmopolitan resort and caters for any holiday requirements you may have,whether it be lively or relaxing and don't leave without at least one day out on the boat trip very inexpensive,happy twins 2 is the best and biggest boat,and try the hamam turkish bath in armutalan it's brill and a once in a lifetime experience.

Beach did not look very clean. Boat trips were excellent value. Water taxis to Icmeler worth taking. Lot of hassle round the restaurants on the marina so worth avoiding. Plenty of others to choose from. Good show at Talk of the Town. Everywhere we went we found the people very friendly. Plenty of good food and drink to be had everywhere, Angel bar very good as was the George and Dragon, dancing on the bar whilst you eat, you can't beat it.

This was our second time in Marmaris and the hassle in the Bazzar was still as bad. Once you get past the hassling you will find the turkish people are very friendly and helpful There is a very good dolmus service which takes you all around Marmaris and we used it to go to nearby Iclemer There was a music festival on the week we were there and it was a good free night out.

Armutalan in Marmaris was a good location, with plenty of bars, shops, restaurants and places to visit nearby. An ideal location to go on all the trips which are much better value for money being purchased from local kiosks than through the hotel reps (prepare to barter, they always charge a higher price than they expect you to pay).
The resort and beach were clean, although you can't walk on the beach as the sunloungers are laid out in rows like sardines.
The only downside to the holiday was the constant harrassement and intimidation from restaurants and shops wanting your business. They were relentless in their endeavour to get you to spend your money in their restaurant or shop. This becomes increasingly annoying for every place you pass. Try saying 'yok sowl' - means 'no thanks', and that can stop them hassling you, without you being rude.

The resort is good if you want a good time.
Get yourself down to Bar street some really fit girls there.
If you want to be boring then go to the Bazar they are the most boring people I have ever meet all they want is your money.

The resort marmaris is a very pretty and quite livley area, pleanty of water sports boat trips etc (recommended for all ages). Beaches good and clean and pleanty of sun beds on al parts of the beach.
