if you want to be close to marmaris centre dont stay here ,uf like noise and kids running round you will love it ,also they charge you for air con and tv ,

Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

The resort is kept very clean with thousands of bars to choose from,we a great bar called MAD BOYS, what can i say about this bar? The name says it all. Good food, great service and fantastic entertainment. The beach was gritty but you could go to other places to relax on great beaches, or you could go on boat trips to beautiful beaches. We love it so much we are going back in August to enjoy another great holiday.

Marmaris is a fantastic resort exceptionally clean, the touts can become quite tiring after a while but polite no thank you will always work the turkish expect you to barter and although it can be a little daunting at first it can be great fun and you can get some real bargains. The designer copys in turkey are very cheap and excellant copies i was in shopping heaven! The restaurants are the same we never paid for the children to eat the entire holiday and if one restaurant says no discount walk away they'll soon change their minds. The food is amazing very fresh and tasty. We went on some great trips the turkish really try their hardest to make sure that a great time is had by all. The only slight disappointment was the beach which is very gravelly but we found a quick bus ride to icelmer resolved that which a white sandy beach just 10 mins up the road.
I would recommend marmaris to anyone and will definatley be visiting again

This was the second vacation to marmaris.the resort itself is very good.plenty of cheap designer goods.don't buy the perfume though!!The shop owners remembered us from last year,and treated us as friends,and always gave us apple tea or raki!!The restaurants n bars come alive at night,and are very good value.the beach is a shingle beach,although we sunbathed at the hotel.

Marmaris is a very busy resort. We only visited twice during the day so can't comment on entertainment in the evening. We didn't see the beach, so again can't comment.
There are lots of shops in the bazaar, but mostly sell the same type of merchandise. Beware of the fakes.
We enjoyed a visit to the castle - good views from the top.

This is a lively coastal resort with lots to do for everyone.Places to eat are in abundance and all tastes are catered for.The only drawback is every restauranteur wants you to eat in their establishment so you have to be firm and say no politely.Likewise the shopping be prepared to haggle it was a little strange at first but by the end of the holiday we had it sorted.The beach is gritty and no sand,also the beaches are not very wide but the sun loungers and parasols are free.

we stayed in marmaris.the beach is not all that as its shingle,but very clean,as is marmaris generally.the staff in the shops are always cheerful,despite their lives being somewhat difficult.the markets n bazaars are very good,and there are plenty of internet cafes open 24hrs....

marmaris is a clean and varied town the entertainment is excellent, the beaches are mostly gritty and pebbly but the sea is so cool and inviting you will not care.
we hope to go back in september 2004 as we had so much fun.

Marmaris - had a couple of hours each evening having a wander, had some good fun bartering - found the best way to get "best price my friend" was to tell them you had a flight to catch within the hour, if they didn't like the price I was offering then I didn't have too much time - usually worked, I think me and my son ended up with 30 pairs of boxers for about a tenner.
Plenty of gold - wife got a very good deal
Loads of shops, but a bit repetetive
Bar street was quiet but I imagine in summer its mad
Market on Thursday was excellent and generally a little cheaper.
Dolmus from hotel was 1 mil

Armutalan (epic is in a small town) is beautiful and has just the right mix of bars & restaurants (if you enjoy eating out try Palm Corner). Marmaris is fantastic it has a beautiful harbour and plenty of lively/friendly/romantic eateries/bars etc something for everyone. All in all a wonderful holiday.
