Great hotel, any rooms from 3130 to 3149, 4130 to 4149 or 5130 to 5149 are the best, if available, but just don't book it with Love Holidays as their customer service and support is non existent.

Marmaris is without doubt a beatiful place, or was at any rate. The view across the bay is wonderful particularly at sunset.
This was my second visit to this resort and I could not help but notice how much prices have gone up in two years. I believe the cost of dining out or drinking on the sea front has risen by about 20-25% in those two years. I cannot stress to strongly the need to keep a log of your drinks or meal orders, as we constantly noticed that we were being over charged. I one case no attempt had been made to calculate a true bill just a number scribbled on a napkin, 60TKL for two beers and a coke is a lot, needless to say after our complaint the price dropped rapidly.
Walking anywhere near the sea front/shopping area leaves you open to the bar/shop tout trying to edge you in, to buy/drink or eat. The manner of the these peaople varies greatly from a polite request, to near on vulgarity. Clearly the Turks working here see us Brits as a money pit and quite clearly that is all they are interested in. Whilst the food on the sea front is very good, the attitude of the Turks towards the Brits has deminished, looking about their cilentele it in that difficult to understand why.
The Brits abroad here are loud, drunk, football shirt wearing Brits out for a good time on cheap beer. Our attutude to the Turks is reflected in their attitude to towards us. Even our tour operator guide on the bus from the airport to the hotel refered to the Turks as having no common sense and limit intelegence.
This resort has a lot to offer for best meal deals and cheapest drinks, stay away for the sea front area, there are loads of good bars further up town doing the same entertainment with beer at only £1 a pint.
Turkey needs to remove to the street tout before it gets a bad name like Tenerife did over time share sales people.

Lovely. We went self catering so we had the chance to go to different restaurants. I would tell you to try Al Frescos. We went there 5 times during our stay. The staff are lovely there. Very friendly. Make sure you get served by Bulent (Billy) he is the best.

Plenty to do for all tastes. Lots of different restaurants, with many providing good quality entertainment.
Everybody is very friendly and welcoming.

Too much hassle from people wanting your money.
Do not visit if you like to browse in shops or take your time deciding where to eat in the evening.
The music is too loud every where you go making any conversation impossible.
Our friends booked a romantic moonlight cruise around the coast of Marmaris only to have the crazy frog booming out on the boat. Egg and chips place that is loosing all Turkish identity and is not suitable for families.

This is a great resort.
The beach was a bit of a let down as it isnt very wide and is shingle but when you get in the water, it is swo clear that you can see the bottom, the water is soft and a very nice blue colour.
The bars along the beach are great and if you got to the Beach, go to the Malibu Beach Bar as the entertainment is great and the staff are very friendly.
Everyday all the waiters dance and sing while you are sunbathing and eating and it is very enjoyable.
The other bars are great too!

Resort was clean. Marmaris center was way too busy for me (1000's of people) so stayed in quieter area for drinking and going out.
Beach was poor. Shingle beach which wasn't very wide though was a few miles long totally covered in sunbeds.
Would visit again.

What can I say busy busy busy. Hassling you to go in there shops. Restaurants, you told them you had eaten they called you a liar.
My husband was asked if he wanted his hair braiding, he is as bald as a badger.
Busy road, the only good thing was we had 2 weeks of glorious red hot weather.

Marmaris is very busy and noisy.
The marina area is the nicest with some nice restauruants but beware they add on service charges and things you think are free to your bill in some places...
We were sick off being hassled and ripped off by the end of two weeks.
